Barolo I only ever buy Italian or Spanish tomatoes - much, much tastier than British ones which (as AOTN said) taste of nothing! [ more ]
Former Member Tomatoes in shops dont taste of anything. I grew some last year (yes! me! like Felicity Kendall!) and as long as you picked them when they were yellow (otherwise they burst) they were great and tasted like olden days tomatoes..ie like tomatoes. [ more ]

Used to work in a club... have worked bernard manning nights and seen female strippers at their worst.... but also seen some cringy male ones (actually the strippers were ok.. I used to serve them drinks and talk to them like humans.... but I will never get my head round the wimmin that mobbed them) So..... how were the clubs then? Which ones did you go to? Unfortunately, they've just ruined their run of 20 top ten hits. Untouchable went in at no 11. Ah well though, Out Of Control was a number 1 album so the singles were always going to struggle. Hollygolightly Hi Irish Princess- sorry I got the location wrong...but Mother of God where has that accent come from. Woeful!! Having said that she has got one amazing voice and I remember thinking that when she sang Fields of Gold she would become megga. Agree with you about Kimberly, best figure of them all and seems very sweet. Don't have much of an opinion on Cheryl...overexposed perhaps. [ more ]

Blackpudlian I have gone off tea but don't know why, and I have been told to avoid fizzy drinks by my dentist because they are ruining the enamel on my teeth but I thank God I lurve coffee. I can't remember starting to drink tea (must have been very young) but I can remember my first coffee when I was 12. [ more ]

Didn't help when I told him about the strange noises the house made on a night, and he suggested it was my next door neighbour in my loft, spying on me through a peep hole!!!! Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing So how many people had monsters under the bed or in the cupboard? We had one that lived in the bath. Of course you couln't see it when the light was on, but if you had to go to the toilet in the night you had to rush back up the hall and jump into bed before it caught you. And you also had to make it into the bedroom before the 'person/presence' in the close looked in the front door and saw you. [ more ]
jujubedoo Have you seen those clocks with a rabbits face on them, it has movable eyes that open and shut, so you can set the clock to a certain time and if your child wakes up too early the rabbits eyes are still shut so they know not to dare move until its eyes are open, am getting one asap [ more ]

boldjohn Dan was originally my favourite in BB5, but dropped down to 2nd favourite when I got to really like Michelle. I wanted Dan to win after Michelle was evicted. His comment about not wanting to win and leaving in the final week to avoid winning was a mistake. Other than that, he was a genuine good guy who did well to bring much needed sanity to a largely unstable group [ more ]
