Please vote for my mother's rabbit
Gabriel Pennywise Ta for all the votes. I shall forgive the forum members who want to eat him. They have taken all the pets off the site now, I guess because voting has closed, so I don't know how he did. I just hope he beat Rafa the scouse rabbit. Don't worry, he wasn't named after Ashley Cole. He was named after Ashley Giles. [ more ]

Keeping your kids safe on line
BBBS if you keep your computer in your main room or where it requires supervision and install a keylogger of some kind which you make sure your children know is active as well as educating them in the does and donts of being online then at least at home your children will be safe however that doesnt stop them from using a "mates" computer or a games console or cellphone and for those things only your education and trust can realy help. remember if you have wifi to password it so your children... Cinds I set my lad up on his FB, and in his settings blocked his biological father 'just in case' he tried to find him. You could do that on your kids. Plus I know his password so can go in and re-adjust his settings. [ more ]

I wanna be a glamour model!!!
Yellow Rose Sooo true for me that's for sure it's amazing what I come across that I'm not looking for while looking for something else I desperately need to find lol. I feel like my life mission is to find so called lost things and it drives me mad to spend so much time doing that/this. Usually hubby is constantly losing things which aren't really lost, they're just never where he remembered them last being lol. I should be a detective after years of trying to hunt things down when needed [ more ]
Essie Don't be precise Yellow Rose (Internet stalkers and all that) where have you moved to? [ more ]
Essie Reminds me of my oldest son, he was in the army for 8 years(he's left now) he kept losing vital keys, they gave him a key with a brick sized metal keyring thinking he couldn't possibly lose the key, he lost the brick and the key. [ more ]

Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing £176 of deals - not bad. [ more ]
Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing You can use your clubcard (and therefore get points) in more places than Tesco and if you have a Tesco credit card you get points everytime you use it, ANYWHERE. And you frequently get extra points for things as well. I just received this quarter's statement the other day. It contained £16 of vouchers which could be used as £64 of DEALS. It also contained coupons for extra points on bacon and bread 35p off Flora, £1 off Persil and a voucher to enter a draw to winn 1,000 points. You also get... [ more ]
Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing The idea is that you don't have to remember to save them yourself and you can't be tempted to spend them and remember you can pay in extra money and then come Christmas/New Year most,if not all, of your extra expenditure is already paid. You get your vouchers in November. [ more ]

Ells When I used to leave the house, as a teenager all dressed up and the nose in the air thinking I was the bees knees, my dad used to shout 'Watch out for the manholes' meaning I was too busy posing to see what was in front of me And on the subject of dating ugly blokes when I said it wasn't for me someone said 'Do you look at the fireplace when you're poking the fire?' Russell Brand..
Yellow Rose No probs for me Holly. There are some things that are more acceptable, or maybe more understandable, between men than women. But in the bigger picture that's not a total truth as there can be crossovers in tastes whether by men or women, as I think some posts here have proved [ more ]

What HM did you dislike and why?
Former Member [QUOTE]Originally posted by Pink Plastik: Stuart Hosking (BB2) was a horrible, arrogant intimidating man. That's the truth PP. Didn't particularly care for Penny, but how he treated her was unforgiveable [ more ]
Barolo I've disliked far too many to list but Marco, Emma, Nadia, Michelle Bass, Maxwell, the bloke who fancied orange Anthony (can't remember his name) get special mention. . . there are too many! Oh, Pete, Dan, Luke, Becky, Mario (aka Shaun) . . . . I'd happily forgotten about most of them so thanks for reminding me all over again, NOT!!! [ more ]

Breastfeeding Debate/Poll. Women who CHOOSE to not breastfeed.
CheekyPixie What a great response so far... with virtually 7 out of 10 of you (69%) thinking it's up to the mum and no-one else's business and virtually 3 in 10 (31%,) thinking, 'yes mums should give it a go...' thanks folks.. there are some great posts in here, some valid points and some good arguments, and I am really chuffed with the responses... The last votes and posts were late afternoon. It will be interesting to see if the figures/statistics/percentages change, if the evening posters on here are... [ more ]

mel 2 I think it is individual choice as to wether you do or not. I tried with my first but couldn't get on with it. My other two since then have been bottle fed and my next one that is due will probably be bottle fed aswell. Luckily for me the hospital that i had all of them at did not make me feel guilty for not breast feeding but they did give fantastic support for what ever choice you made. [ more ]

Sorry Guys.
***Mrs BBV*** Well last week on here seemed to go rather well if you ignore the other parts of the board where I believe anarchy reigned. So for this week I'm happy to continue for the time being. I did my initial post (flounce) thinking that's it, but I got few sugarettes pm ing, texting and leaving me messages asking me to reconsider so I thought we'd proceed on a week by week basis. The Bolthole is a lovely place but just isn't guaranteed to have 30 plus people on at the same time which means TA... [ more ]
demonickitten Mrs BBV your apprentice threads and the contributions from lovely posters (who dont have to have constant online psycotic episodes just to prove they exist) ,have been the best thing about the forum in the past. I TOTALLY understand what you are saying as I too feel this place is a breeding ground for nutters currently. Maybe if we went to the bolthole to discuss TA, which seems a lovely place , it may be better? Whatever you decide thanks for the past few years and TA threads, they were... [ more ]

Who has used a cross trainer to lose weight?
Scrumtum they make ya butt look bufff [ more ]
Jenny Talking of gyms..... I was at the gym today, and saw this girl on what looks like a cross trainer, but the foot things go sort of sideways, like skating or something. So obviously I don't know what it's called. Anyway the whole time I was at the gym she was going hell for leather on this machine. When I got off the x trainer at the end of my stint, I glanced up and saw that she'd been on that machine for 67 mins and had used 900 odd calories? Can that be healthy fgs?! She was skinny as a... Jenny Oh well, if anyone wants to donate one of their unused cross trainers to me, I'll be happy to take it off their hands. [ more ]

Cariad A friend of my daughter's is called Peta - pronounced Peter. Imagine my shock when Peta turned out to be a girl. Just listen to your own instincts. It's your child at the end of the day. When my two children were on their way we had a list of names but each of us had absolute power of veto. So even if I adored a name it didn't make the list if their father recoiled in horror. Queen of the High Teas HERMY???!!!! My dad used to call me Ermintrude, didn't make the connection at the time that she was a cow. I like my name now, just when I was younger there weren't so many Alex's around that were female. Loads of my friends parents thought they were talking about a lad. My first boyfriend's mum had thought he was gay for a while because he kept going on about meeting up with Alex. [ more ]

Remember i told you about Nick?
Sexy_Kelly I didn't actually know what had happened until the bloke come round to fix it. Ever since someone tried to kick it in back when i first moved in. The landlords never made an effort to repair of replace it so i was always having problems with the door so i just assumed it was just the door being akward. There is not a chance in hell i could move. Far too expensive. [ more ]
paace You should inform the police also to make them aware of what's going on in the area. It doesn't seem a very nice or safe place. I would consider moving somewhere safer. I know there is a lot involved in moving but just for peace of mind if you can. [ more ]
