Where do you (mostly) watch movies?

El Loro I watch the majority of films either on television or DVDs. I noticed Well-Wisher's comment on lack of films which can be legally downloaded. There's the 4 on demand site which has an interesting range, but is limited in number. There is also the ability to download films from Lovefilm. At present this is in a beta state and the range of films is very limited - mainly old films. Mercedes78 I like going to the cinema, we have one in our town, so if there is a film i like in the cinema i'll go, it takes me half an hour on the bus into town, and it's mostly empty in the day when kids are at school, my hubby buys dvd's because we hardly go together. [ more ]
Suzy I love going to the cinema.Here in Liverpool we have the FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology)they show a wide range of films and have exhibitions and guest directors sometimes. No yobs throwing popcorn or inane chatter,comfy sofa's.You can drink alcohol if you want too whilst watching,all in all a nice experience and a good night out. I do own lots of dvd's though. [ more ]

paace C4 are also liars. They say they can no longer afford to run the forums yet they can pay this American company Bebo to run the alternative BB site. It seems to be geared towards the under 16 market. This seems to be the only market the suits at C4 are now interested in. [ more ]

We have decided on a "Rave" Theme for the car - early 90's stuff, loadsa neon and smiley faces, we've got one of those horns that do 40 sounds (the cow mooing is probably my fav!)and we are spray painting the neon colours on the car this weekend.. oh and we've some proper dodgy/chavtastic strip lighting for underneath the car too!! And its only 2 WEEKS today until we head off! EXCITED NOW!! [ more ]

BBBS no red button, no live net feed, no "secret" channel on sky or freesat. its advert laden out of date clips or the selected storyline on the highlights show only unless you want to watch the hm's asleep bbbm is now only once a week not even after a midweek eviction and diary room uncut was scrapped so they will no longer show all the nominations or reasons (again to keep with their storylines), bbbe has been cancelled too. Essie My Road was built around 60 years ago, a few years ago my council decided because it's an Avenue it should have had trees, so they proceeded to plant trees in the entire Avenue, they strategically placed them in the middle of each house unless you had a lip for a drive then they obviously couldn't. Luckily we had a drive, but a few of my neighbours who didn't are now having to pay £800 to have the trees removed to enable a drive, our Avenue is 1/6 hill, drives are a necessity on my part of... velvet I think she has an excellent singing voice but I think the media tidal wave may now go against her cos people expect she will win and might just vote for somebody else to give them a chance, thinking that she has it in the bag, so's to speak. I think that wiggle thing she did at the end of her performance when talking to Ant and Dec was very silly and embarrasing. Definitely like somebody's drunk auntie at a wedding. [ more ]
