Already Fed Up And Bored of BB
Aimee Re: Already Fed Up And Bored of BB [ more ]
Dora I watched opening night, and havent wacthed it since. Seems pointless to watch a catch up show that BB has edited for themselves. I dont think im gonna bother this year to be honest. Maybe the odd night here and there, but really, better things to watch and do just now [ more ]
Garage Joe Me too. The first two punters looked promising and then it turned into the usual bunch of contestants. Even Sralen on Room 101 seemed more inviting. [ more ]

Kaytee I usually vote in the final only....and only then if I like the finalists I'm boycotting the C4 website on principle My little contribution won't do much to dent their profits [ more ]
Ms Golightly I never went on the website anyway, it got worse and worse, year on year - forum was always better for news and info anyway! And I very rarely vote. One of the few times I did was to evict Maxwell over Science, and what a glorious result that was! So my boycotting them will have no effect I'm afraid - but I do hope that people who would normally vote, choose not to in protest of the shabby treatment and lack of red button action! [ more ]
Former Member Yes and Yes. I'm also boycotting the HL show... [ more ]

darloboy (Play The Game!) Katie from Emmerdale is hot, forgot about her lol. Michelle, Maria and Rosie nothing special about them. Hollyoaks is the place for hot chicks , they are trying to look for the next Roxanne Mckee at the moment for a new character they are bringing in. [ more ]

BNP win first county council seat
Former Member It was a great day that.. I remember the MayDay rally up here that year, real optimism and celebration. Didn't take that long to realise it hadn't gone the way we thought though. [ more ]
old hippy guy yip I agree with ya CO, I remember that "glorious" day very well, I had wished and hoped for it though 18 years of the tories, I remember the sun was shining and somehow the air felt CLEAN and when I got into work I had never seen so many people with big beaming smiles on their faces at the START of the day haha, people were shaking hands hugging each other punching the air etc, HOW let down do we feel now?..it was certainly almost a case of, meet the new boss,...same as the old boss, only... [ more ]
Comrade Ogilvy Well that's the problem, I remember only too well the ills of the tories and the current govt. I was among the number who celebrated the end of tory rule, at last (I thought) there'd be change, well 12 years and 3 wars up the road new labour have stripped us of so many of our hard won freedoms that I cannot think about them without feeling queezy. More on our lose of liberties here - http://video.google.com/google...218544&hl=en&fs=true In short.. I can't help but think we're screwed... [ more ]

WHO HAS DIFFERENT POLLY PARTY IN THEIR AREAS NOW?
faerykelstar Umm, fyi was born and lived in the countryside for most of my life. It is not all about fox-hunting. There are more opposed to it than for it. They are an easy target because they are morally wrong. Bad parking is certainly not the worst thing about fox-hunting!! [ more ]
Garage Joe To me it has always seemed that baffled people come into the countryside and attempt to change the way it works. The main problem with fox hunting is the people who follow it, stop suddenly without warning, park on blind bends and so forth. However the people actually involved in Fox hunting form an easy target. Indeed an easier target than all that is wrong within the cities. One tends not to find these protesters taking on guns, drug, and crime culture for example. They would be slit up a ... [ more ]
faerykelstar In my opinion, the only people who will be out of a job are the foxhound breeders, and as I think it is an utterly disgusting hobby then that doesn't seem like a bad thing to me. [ more ]

51 members on this forum ,day 2 of BB
wandawitch I used to sometimes join the old channel 4 forum for the BB season you had to go on early mornings to get a word in!. I have never known the forums to be so empty! BB should bring back the live feed. The show is poorer without it. [ more ]
Former Member I'm hoping I can get into this years show more, but it means I've got to stay up all night to see a true account of what's going on in there. I don't watch the 9pm show as I just don't trust it. There's been numerous occasions over the years where it's edited a particular incident so much that it didn't even resemble what I'd seen on live feed. They had cut it and put things in a completely different order in what I can only assume was to influence voters one way or another. That's probably... [ more ]

Poll: Local/Euro elections - Who will you vote for?
Proggers I wouldn't really bet on anything as far as politics is concerned...I only have a moderate grasp of politics, tbh. All I can say is 'bring on the by-election - or General Election if GB resigns as PM. Gibson standing as an independant is an option but at 70 he could retire I guess. [ more ]
Tourista Well, according to the poll here, NuLab would have smiles all over their faces, instead of the egg that is there now. The Lib Dem vote in many areas has collapsed, and in Devon, the Lib Dem's lost more than half their councillors. Obviously, the conurbations will be radically different, and that will show in the Euro vote, and may just give Broon a boost. [ more ]
Tourista Whats your take on the By-Election?. Will Gibson stand as an independant, and split the NuLab vote?. As it stands, they have a 5,000+ majority to play with. [ more ]

DanceSettee Re: Today would be Jade's 28th birthday... [ more ]
DanceSettee It's considered more socially acceptable to wail about other people's tragedies than it is for your own. The former is considered generally to be empathetic and positive whilst the latter is considered to be self indulgent and negative. So people who need to express sadness for their own issues have to use this convoluted route to get their emotions recognised. That's my theory anyway.......but it doesn't explain why anyone would choose Jade as vehicle to do this.....plenty of more deserving... [ more ]

bigdaddyostrich Snouts in the Trough Update: The Telegraph has had a closer look at Brown’s receipts and learnt that not only has he charged his cleaning to the taxpayer, he double-dipped for two properties after flipping his designation when he moved into Downing Street. Gordon flipped the designation of his second home from London to Scotland 10 days after Blair announced he would begoing. This allowed Gordon to carry on claiming a second home allowance after he moved into Downing Street. He has now been... [ more ]
