Belle i have 2 cats. polly rarely makes a sound. she is the strong silent (shit-scared) type. sukey has been trained to meow. my husband taught her to do it when we first had her with her sister mags (before mags died and we took pogs in). My husband regrets training her to meow for her supper. she is as persistent as the baby. brisket I have had best friend contact in the middle of the night too. I think the thing which I couldn`t quite understand is the idea of having "a lot of best friends". That sounds impossible to me. He was at a party and didn't realise the time (I'm always up late anyway) - I really didn't mind and if it was a friend with a problem I wouldn't mind that either. I guess we're all different. El Loro Microsoft have announced that there will be a lightweight online free version of Office when office 2010 launches next year. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8148969.stm [ more ]
Belle as a spreadsheet genius, i wouldn't recommend open office as a substitute if you are going to use it loads. functionality is broadly similar, but there's a few quirks if you are a serious office user. however it is free which is always nice. [ more ]
El Loro If you are using Office 2003 and try to open a 2007 file, if you are connected to the internet, you will be asked if you want to download a compatability pack, Select Yes and the pack should be downloaded and installed. 2007 files will now be automatically converted when you open them. When you close the file you will need to save it to preserve the conversion.
