West Indies v England
El Loro West Indies got the required runs comfortably so the series was drawn. England were expected to win the series comfortably. Considering they are up against New Zealand and Australia over the next few months, their chances are looking grim. [ more ]
El Loro England avoided the ignominy of going in the list of 100 worst test innings scores thanks to Stokes and Butler. All oot for 123. West Indies require 192 runs to win. Not a huge target and plenty of time to get the runs but not an easy wicket to bat on. [ more ]
El Loro In the third test England's second innings overnight score is 39 for 5. Need another 7 runs to avoid England's lowest ever Test innings score. Need to get over 80 to avoid being in the list of 100 worst innings scores. Subject to weather, looks unlikely that the match will go beyond the third day. [ more ]

hello everyone..just a quick Q about family tree
Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing There are restrictions on what information can be found via on-line searches:- Births - 100 years or more ago Marriages - 75 years or more ago Deaths - 50 years or more ago. Censuses - 100 years or more ago. A personal visit to a 'records centre' can elicit more recent information. On-line images are not considered valid for legal purposes, but you can generally get a 'hard copy' for a fee, this WILL be considered legal. [ more ]
Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing Costs:- There's no definitive answer to that. Various sites will offer various packages. Some will be 'packages' of assorted sizes and durations. some will be more like a pay-as-you-go system. Ultimately the total cost will be up to you as YOU are the one who will decide what package to take and how often you use it. Good luck - it's a fascinating subject. [ more ]

Nick Clegg: The choice is me, Salmond or Farage
Carnelian Clegg can say whatever he likes, no one believes him. All Lib Dem policies aren't worth the paper they're written on and can be negotiated away in a heartbeat. Clegg is a closet Tory but one who wants to have his own train set. The Lib Dems promise of £3b of cuts and no more. Who, after five years of Clegg being a doormat for Cameron, believes they'll stick to that? It will be dropped as soon as the Lib Dems get a whiff of any power share with Cameron. [ more ]
