jackassfanI used to like this film when it first came out but i saw it again a few years ago and didnt think much of it I prefer Jim Carrey when he isnt doing over the top comedy, He is brilliant in Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, The Truman Show and Man On The Moon [ more ]
Former MemberThe garlic would work with me but only if the bloke I was with had eaten it. that would be him banished to the settee for the night when my two boys were toddlers, we used to call them the contraceptives because once you'd experienced them you'd never have kids They have grown up into lovely adults mind [ more ]
The Devil In DiamanteSome women believe bread, cling film and chicken skin can be used as barrier method contraceptives, while others think eating garlic will prevent pregnancy. [ more ]
Former Memberhahaha I love the episode of the Simpsons with the Stonecutters where they sing the song. I'm sure one of the lines says "Who rigs every Oscar night" [ more ]
Former MemberThere is not enough money in the world that would ever make me suggest that Tom Hanks should be given a starring role in anything other than a snuff movie about auto erotic asphyxiation or summat. I cannot stand him. In fact that's a conspiracy that bears investigation. How the bleeding hell did he win 1 Oscar let alone how ever many he has won? Something stinks somewhere [ more ]
15:10Do you think they are they still friends DB? They kept their distance from each other on BBLB and on Friday. Don't think Freddie will hold grudges but same can't be said about Marcus. [ more ]
*BB*I agree with this. For those who are finding it diffult to either get over there or to find their way around the new place, there needs to be a support thread right here. [ more ]
Extremely Fluffy Fluffy ThingThe mods supplied us with support forums here and there's plenty of stuff about Live Cloud there and folk can ask questions there. After all that's what SUPPORT is all about. Why should the mods be expected to put stickies up on all the rest of the forums, just because people aren't going there? [ more ]
Darthhoobi've always wante to do BB but i'm too shy really. plus i have kids now so can't lol (well i could neglect them to go on like some have...but i wont :P) [ more ]
CariadLet's just say if you're anything like Bea then yes. Just don't expect to win. [ more ]
littleleicesterfoxGood god she looks awkward in that. Not at all relaxed - DH votes 'not sexy' I'm afraid. He says it's looks like she's been told what to do and doesn't quite 'get' how to do it. [ more ]
~Lee~TBH I am not interested in what any of them done outside the house.....I prefer to stick to what went on in the BB house. [ more ]
darloboy (Play The Game!)PMSL , Imogens pics in the Sun a couple of weeks ago talking about Jermain Defoe where even better than that also . [ more ]
Soozy WooI trained, I qualified, I changed my mind. The thing is - we have our own business - my husband does the practical stuff I do the bookkeeping ........although it's not a full time thing I really and truly would never have coped juggling the two. I also trained (OU) so it was all school based in a very, rough, tough school .........it was stressful TBH.............I'm sure there are peeps that love it and had I have been younger without kids of my own and other commitments I'm sure I'd have... Former MemberHi there, Maybe teaching in further education would be the thing for him? He could do a bit of research into the local colleges to see which ones deliver the subject areas he's qulaified/ experienced in and send in a CV - often , if you do get offered work with colleges , it's temporary/ part-time contracts ( often very part time! ) but can often lead to more work, and colleges will offer teacher training to staff as CPD while in service. Worth a shot! Good luck with it! [ more ]
sunny dayzwell i gave him a bit of support but i am in agreement with you to be honest. He is a big one and I hope sophie dumps him for good, she can do a lot better [ more ]
brisketIt takes 2. They used each other for mutual convenience. [ more ]
JoyronI thought Siavash coped really well despite the outfit BB sent him out in. After Freddie went Siavash was the ONLY one that deserved to win!!! [ more ]
kimotaI thought Siavash was fine all things considered. He showed Sophie his full support and handled those heels better than many a pro drag artist! Shame he lost his voice though! [ more ]
darloboy (Play The Game!)Rex and Darnell were rude to her, they were hyped up on the forums but when it came to the crunch with the voting they were both first out but it's down to personal taste in a housemate . Sara was entertaining to some and thats what counts . [ more ]
~Lee~Whatever flaots your boat Darlo...I failed to find her in anyway endearing....She played with him to the extent it was cruel saying he was just her type and all the bullshine about her MTV contacts....Darnell and Rex were wrong saying what they did but by the same token they were going on info she gave to them about her RL. [ more ]
darloboy (Play The Game!)Sara was fun, good for Darnell he got his acceptance in the end but he was so nasty to her, he called her cheap and easy ,: but she had the last laugh . [ more ]
Soozy WooThank you. As for the final percentages I dont think we can really read too much into it ........I would have liked to see the percentages after the first count. I would imagine that Charlie and rodrigos fans (after the first evictions) would have transferred to David and Sophie ........ simply because some gay voters may have gone for David and Rodrigo fans would have probably loved Sophie too. Siavash was a man alone on finals night 9he never forged real alliances in the house) ........he... [ more ]
Soozy WooDarlo ...............I was on holiday for the Marcus eviction. can you or anyone else tell me what the percentage was in that week? Please [ more ]

Blackpudlian"When the old king died" (as they used to say), the country welcomed in the New Elizabethan Age but as Her Majesty has been on the throne for 57 years, this seems to be a bit obsolete. I prefer to call it the Elizatoosies. [ more ]

caxwellThe way i got around that... not sure if it still works, Sign up for a virgin pay as you go dial up account and use their web based email service to sign up. Has worked in the past. [ more ]
KayteeAlthough Charlie was vile....I think Rodrigo's histrionics did him no favours with the public. David hampered his own chances by sticking to Lisa like a limpet In the end, every single one of the runners up, were the architects of their own downfall, leaving the door wide open for Sophie to slip through [ more ]
figtreeI agree with the Senora. I could never see what was good about him.He may not be well educated but he is definately streetwise! Probably attended the school of bad acting all with Charlie! [ more ]
brisketCold Sweat: I'd like to add my few words of congratulations to you because Sophie has won. I have admired your posts and your loyalty and defense of Sophie. More to be admired that your fondness for Sophie didn`t tempt you into making outlandish and ridiculous statements. Thanks for your politeness when posting, and well done on your girl winning. [ more ]
Cold SweatI've really not gloated at all - yet! Sophie has been criticised on here for some of her responses (re Kris, for instance) during the press interview as they did not match what she said to Davina. The housemates usually get some advice before meeting the press - and will have at least had a few important issues brought to their attention via family and friends. I think this explains why some of her answers were less direct. [ more ]
Twee SurgeonI agree. It was just after the shock of winning that the video was made. They both looked like a pair of rabbits in the headlights at times. But it gave a real indication of the lovely warm comfortable friendship they enjoyed in the house. They were very aware of what they said at times too, neither of them being very media savvy. Their agents probably told them to be careful what they said in order to get the scoops from the newspapers. All in all, Sophie did well. She came across as the... [ more ]
HickyHe got to be BB over the intercom for a while, he called each one to the DR and talked to them, they didn't know he was a guest though. They asked the HM's what they thought of him later and they said he was OK. [ more ]
gukuTheir behaviour and attitude during the show was bad but refusing to stand when Sophie entered was just downright rude. I actually dislike them both even more now. I never thought that would be possible! [ more ]
Former Memberi thought he was just so rude and think your right about why it was just those two that didnt stand. well they only showed themselves up. [ more ]
liverbirdThanks for that. At least she didn't get stroppy with you - which could have happened! You did the right thing [ more ]
MysTerryWhen I 'grew up' I decided to tell my Mum about the things I'd done that I knew she wouldn't approve of...then she told me about how she used to sneak out of her bedroom window to go meet up with lads that my g/parents had forbidden her to meet. We all go through something similar when we are young, and some of us are able to handle it, but, there is always going to be those that can't or they come up against situations that we sadly read about in the newspapers .. I don't know if life is... [ more ]

darloboy (Play The Game!)Awwwww Rodrigos message from his family in Brazil was so lovely and touching , his reaction was so nice he was so happy. I think that was the best moment of the evening for me . [ more ]

Aimeeme too, i said to my daughter, you watch the prize will be back to 100k [ more ]
Cold SweatI think this was something they agreed upon in the house - if one of them was the winner. [ more ]
Former MemberHas she really done that? Hurrah if so! Mind you, I'd have slept on it myself ... the decision not the money as I keep my money in the bank rather than under the mattress. People who suddenly get a lump sum can go a bit mad on the spur of the moment! [ more ]
*BB*Can't she just donate the 10k to charity herself? Why bother giving it to Siavash just for him to give it away? [ more ]
brisketIt annoys me when a jusge says "The girls will love you" based on their physical appearance. What on earth has that got to do with singing talent? [ more ]
BlackpudlianMy late lamented cat used to bring them in the house and I am terrified of mices. I'm glad you managed to save your mouse though. Did you release it anywhere near my house? [ more ]
~Lee~She's said this has she or is it an assumption on your behalf?. [ more ]
Free ThinkingNoirin liked Marcus's friendship. She got with Siavash as she thought he was more of a favourite, it was purely a move in her gameplan. [ more ]
~Lee~Sooz I really admired Siavash for being so quick to defend her last night tbh...I had no problem whatsoever with Sophie winning but to come out with statements like she's done is a bit rich really....Glass houses and stones spring to mind imo. [ more ]
bigbawsJust two people who will do anything for money. The public might have been slighty fooled by mangy mouth Marcus but going down this route, he is making a laughing stock out of himself [ more ]
