Former Member I saw that earlier.....sad.....I wonder what led to it [ more ]
Enthusiastic Contrafibularities Jenson Button splits with wife - why the hell can't sports stars, film stars and most celebs keep a marriage together, maybe they should never get married, might be best all round. Story: http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/...ter-year-of-marriage Picture: [ more ]

Fargo: Series Two
Sezit Well! All I can say is I loved it. The explanation of the spaceship came from my son. He said that from the very beginning there were subtle references to aliens and spaceships, like when Peggy ran over that guy. Stickers on the wall of the garage/shop. And the fact that it was a story being "narrated" from a book by Martin Freeman, who was in series one. It is a case of Chinese whispers. When we humans tell a story we all add bits and dismiss bits, and so consequently things are never... [ more ]

Eugene's Lair You rang? Yeah; I think my immediate reaction was that it was a tribute to "The Colbys". I was looking around fan discussion sites and the reaction's been a bit mixed. Most of the hard-core fans point out that it had been signposted earlier in the series. Also you've got to bear in mind that this set in 1979 - not long after "Close Encounters" came out, and at a time when there were infamously "real life" UFO sightings in North Dakota and Minnesota - something the Coen Brothers were clearly... Cinds Has anyone seen Rawky since his crowd funding came to an end? He's maybe too busy celebrating. [ more ]
Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing May I say Rawky, for someone with a hearing impairment (me!) the background music was far too loud, almost to the point of distracting the viewer/listener from what the film was all about. [ more ]

Firefox - big news for those with 64 bit computers
Mount Olympus *Olly* Nah I'll go with Pale Moon if FF get even stricter, which is a lighter version of FF. .I have mine set up like the old IE with bookmarks in a sidebar etc... I like it that way and the add ons all still work in pale moon so no need for 'official signing' [ more ]
Enthusiastic Contrafibularities Or opt for one of the other browsers out there like Opera or a Tor browser, probably not a Tor browser. [ more ]
Mount Olympus *Olly* Watch out for your add ons if you upgrade to v43.. . FF have it set to disable any that have not been signed thru them, and lots haven't because the developers are 'revolting' against this rule and getting pretty narked at the way FF is going so some very good add ons are no longer available. I found a work around to re-enable one of my plug ins that v43 disabled by amending some of FF's code in the about:config section but the story is that the next version due out in a few weeks won't even... Cold Sweat My dad took me to see the original film at the ABC cinema on Southbury Rd in Enfield – I loved it… but he kept nodding off! I watched the first three instalments but I’m not sure I could watch them now. As for the second trilogy – I’ve not watched any of them and found the hype surrounding The Phantom Menace annoying at the time. [ more ]

Enthusiastic Contrafibularities That's probably down to me not posting the real price and just relying on the 'embedded code' to properly reflect the price and details. [ more ]

El Loro Interesting gadget. The picture of the advert has the worst error ever in an advert The price of $326,495 would put anyone off buying it. It's only when you look at this site https://www.indiegogo.com/proj...ndows-10-pocket-pc#/ that you find the prices are far more realistic. The $326,495 was the funds raised to finance the project. That's the sort of mistake which puts businesses under. For some technical info: http://techpp.com/2015/11/03/o...indows-10-pocket-pc/ [ more ]

Tour De Yorkshire 2016 - Middlesbrough Stage
