Soozy Woo It was afew years ago now that my to went to Uni ...............they left within a week of each other and I felt bereft ............I was quite emotional (when i left them) but didn't let them see it. The thing is .......they had the time of their lives .......I really, really missed them though. it's hard adjusting when the babies fly the nest. They left in the sept/Oct and then my little grandson came along (from my oldest son) - it's kinda like starting all over. In the words of Harry... [ more ]

Former Member Well I think we are better placed to keep their memories and experiences alive than previous generations were with all the media we have nowadays. It can feel like information overload at times though but all in all it's better to have too much info than too little It's all very well having an oral tradition like our Iron Age ancestors but if your culture is wiped out (like the Romans did) then it is very difficult to know much about that period. Jordan refuses to name the Man who...
Darthhoob i'm well aware of the reason why she may have kept quiet, especially to the police....maybe even her husband, trust me i am. but it's the way she has simply just mentioned it, bold as brass, in a column of some magazine...and the fact she just LOVES attention, and she seems to be playing games that really bothers me about this [ more ]

I-Phones ?
Baz No... it's that, what you call the the i-sheep, are happy with not having constant virus's... who are happy with the simplicty...the fantastic graphics, and with not having to bother with every new Windows update that Microsoft foists on the world... IMO [ more ]
BBBS its not the phones fault, its the i-sheep that waste money of every new product and update that steve jobs craps out. [ more ]
BBBS wise move, it took 3 versions of the iphone just to get minor things like video recording as standard, it still cant select an mp3 as a ringtone without a heck of a lot of messing around, no wonder it has so many apps for it, most phones have most of the apps they need built in, the iphone doesnt. most makers high end phones offer better features and in many cases an interface that is more user friendly (ie it has at least some buttons for functionality). Is there a BB forum on Livecloud
Xochi Paace, when gaga moves tonight, in the morning when you look on Sites on the black bar, gaga will be listed in the dropdown menu. Then you can navigate through to the existing forums! Alternatively, and most simply, you can use your existing bookmark/favorites route without any bother once things are up and running! [ more ]
paace Thanks Essex Angel, but I cannot understand why they have not set up a Big Brother UK forum yet, which would be the most logical, simple and familiar place for all us regulars to go too after here. They have a BB US. In fact on a quick look around you can see that Livecloud is geared primarily at their American market. I may be doing the admin an injustice but I don't think they're too fussed how well we in the UK fare. [ more ]

Ducky I've only read the OP so far cos I was so excited to hear someone else can't stand that voice either that I had to reply straight away!! I can just about cope with listening to Bulletproof (as it's a great song) but that voice drills down into my head and sends me bleedin crazy. AND GMTV had the cheek to trailer her appearance with the word "stunning" to describe her voice! Everytime it came on I couldn't help but mutter something degrogatory under my breath. [ more ]

Dusty CAN'T HELP BUT LOVE OLD PEOPLE A jumbo jet is making its final approach to Coolangatta Airport ... The pilot comes on the intercom, 'This is your Captain. We're on our final descent into Coolangatta.. I want to thank you for flying with us today and hope you enjoy your stay on the Gold Coast. He forgets to switch off the intercom. Now the whole plane can hear his conversation from the cockpit. The co-pilot can be heard saying to the pilot, 'So, Skip, whatcha got planned while we're on the... [ more ]
Dusty When Ralph first noticed that his penis was growing larger and staying erect longer, he was delighted, as was his wife. But after several weeks, his penis had grown to nearly 20 inches. Ralph became quite concerned, so he and his wife went to see a prominent urologist. After an initial examination, the physician explained to the couple that, though rare, Ralph's condition could be cured through corrective surgery. "How long will Ralph be on crutches?" the wife asked anxiously. "Crutches? Why... [ more ]

Dusty From Me To You - The Beatles If there's anything that you want, If there's anything i can do, Just call on me and i'll send it along With love from me to you. I've got everything that you want, Like a heart that is oh, so true. Just call on me and i'll send it along With love from me to you. I got arms that long to hold you And keep you by my side. I got lips that long to kiss you And keep you satisfied, oooh. If there's anything that you want, If there's anything i can do, Just call on me... [ more ]
Triggers 'Vincent' by Don McLean Starry, starry night. Paint your palette blue and grey, Look out on a summer's day, With eyes that know the darkness in my soul. Shadows on the hills, Sketch the trees and the daffodils, Catch the breeze and the winter chills, In colors on the snowy linen land. Now I understand what you tried to say to me, How you suffered for your sanity, How you tried to set them free. They would not listen, they did not know how. Perhaps they'll listen now. Starry, starry night. [ more ]

It's these expressions I never give That keep me searching for a heart of gold And I'm getting old. Keeps me searching for a heart of gold And I'm getting old. I've been to Hollywood I've been to Redwood I crossed the ocean for a heart of gold I've been in my mind, it's such a fine line That keeps me searching for a heart of gold And I'm getting old. profile Twice. Got to sit in on beginning of two cases. Murder and a drug bust. Was also attempted to be corrupted by an officer of the law who seemed ignorant of the notion of perverting the course of justice . In the courtroom. Whilst the judges back was turned. Both cases after initial pre-amble, was not chosen to sit. Interesting tnough. [ more ]

Puss I was called up in November 1989, it was wonderful, I was stuck at home with my son in a new area and didn't know anyone, and I got to be spokesperson. The rest of the jurors were not interested at all, but I and another woman managed to sway em round. Found the man 'not guilty' of robbery due to not enough evidence. [ more ]
