But i didn't tell her cos I was scared she would ask me to get it off her. She then ran her hands through her hair and I nearly made a run for it. I had one chasing me when ickle was a baby... on the beach. Coleen Rooney has a baby boy!
Kaffs Reference: Demantoid 5956 Forum PostsYesterday at 16:36 (Edited: ) I nearly got into trouble over this. We were talking about it in the office earlier and a few of us remarked on the poor kid's chavvy name - and someone piped up that her kid is also called Kai, or Cai in his case. Don't care - I don't like her much and if she didn't want comments, maybe she shouldn't have given her child such a shellsuit-wearer's name I know of a couple of kids called Kai - one chavvy, one not really. Thing... [ more ]

Dave I saw them at what they announced as one of their "very last shows ever" as they were retiring after the Hold Me" tour in 1982. Very good show, very well done. Kind of up in the air about the way they billed the tour though. [ more ]
Moomin They were brilliant!! 2 1/2 hours on stage. Lindsay Buckingham must've been shattered - he was immense. As I heard a couple of young'uns (probably late teens early 20s) say on the way out, "not bad for old guys" - they are all over 60!! (Makes me realise how old I am now ) [ more ]

A Minute For Madeleine ...
Former Member Reference: I hope she is found, and they are right to never give up hope, just as Ben Needhams Mother hasn't...look at the Jaycee Duggard (sp) case...who knows where Madeline is....I just hope she is safe and hasn't being subjected to anything vile I think it must be highly likely that Madeleine has been subjected to something vile. MoFo If you go into a relationship stressing and fretting and assuming it will fail then you should not be in the relationship. New relationships should be giddy and happy and exciting and romantic....not angst ridden bollocks and heavy dilemmas. Talk about the kiss of death. And its not fair on the other person, they deserve better. They should dump the drama filled misery person and find someone who appreciates them for who they are not how old they are. [ more ]

New Labour alienates everyone. Is there anyone else left?
Garage Joe Reference: No things got unbelievably worse, and with the Lisbon Treaty being bulldozed through without any input from us hold on to your hats because it will probably get a whole lot worse. Can we vote ourselves out of this mess in any way in the future? No we can't. TBF no-one has been more anti-europe than George Bush's poodle and his successor Brown. He refused to join the Euro went against Europe's views on Iraq and supported the USA's viewpoint everytime. No wonder they don't want him... [ more ]
Former Member It's an interesting one. He's pulling the civil service card in effect - treating the guy as a civil servant who should be restrained by the politics. I suppose the government is not obliged to take the advice of its experts but they look a bit daft treating cannabis as a dangerous drug when their advisors say it isn't particular dangerous on the whole. Fairfax The sight of my absolute singing hero, Andy Willimas in sneakers and velour top on SCD is burned into my brain ... why don't family or friends tell them to retire gracefully. Same with the BGees last night, dear God it made me feel so sad. [ more ]
MrsH Some of the singing guests in this series of SCD should have been better advised. I agree - much as I love the show the live acts have been dire this year and TBH even Barry had an embarrassed look about him I thought bless ........ as I said last night I think it is time they retired [ more ]
Eugene's Lair Reference Marguerita Today at 10:47: I have to admit it was bad and I love that song, being only two of them now does not work I actually felt embarrassed for them, as they are very talented singers/song writers Sadly true. When Maurice Gibb died, there were some unkind comments implying that he was the least talented brother. Although it was true that Barry and Robin competed for lead vocals and were (comparatively) more successful songwriters, that rather missed the point. I remember Paul... [ more ]

*HAPPY HALLOWEEN THREAD*

Green&Pink That is awful YR.. ....there is a menacing tone to Halloween celebtations isn't there? Not right... [ more ]
Yellow Rose Because my niece didn't answer the door she had a stone thrown at her window that broke it. I've heard of similar stories whether it's to houses or shops. From US friends who've celebrated Halloween for more years than the UK things like that don't happen over there, it's a fun thing not an attack on homes or people. The UK is an embarassment on so many levels [ more ]

Who should pay up for the pirated/kidnapped Chandlers?
Former Member Reference: The government would be bailing out everyone, and loads of people would be taken hostage. Exactly the point I was going to make. We pay one ransom, we would be expected to pay them all = kidnappings would increase. Having said that, I hope they are freed unharmed - it must be a living hell for their families. [ more ]
Mary Seacole This is such a hard one, they where warned they where going into pirate waters they chose to ignore that ('how dare they)but at the end of the day,we need to protect there safety as caring human beings. But who pays the bill???. [ more ]
