SARAH'S LAW (Megans Law USA) - Will it help?
Former Member I'm with Blizzie. As for vigilantes, I just look at Northern Ireland to see whether I'd be happy letting self-appointed and unregulated people administer justice on society's behalf. Even now, there are groups whose members burst into homes and shoot people in the kneecaps for alleged drug pushers and other anti-social behaviour. [ more ]

blondiecat We don't go for competitive spending. We don't have any children in the family now - youngest niece is now 25! The First Really Cold Morning .....
Trixy I live in a student house so we try to limit having the heating on, my room warms up really quickly so I'm quite happy putting it on for half an hour then having it off, and I will always add extra clothes and snuggleup under my duvet before putting the heating on. Two of my house though always put it on, and today is the first day that I have experienced them doing it all day. I can understand one of the girls as she has the ground floor room and it really is freezing in there, but she... [ more ]

Advice needed please VHS to DVD
squiggle Reference: Only light-hearted teasing. I've known people to struggle with those composite video connections between analogue and digital devices. brisket As someone said previously you can still get equipment which combines VHS, DVD, and Hard Drive all in one machine. But the drawback is that it means spending more money!
