The Devil In Diamante I don't think Lucas actually slept with Steph as her and Toadie were going to say the baby was her exes (until Summer turned up and stopped that idea). WHy sisn't she just say she had a random one night stand before she got with Lucas? He couldn't say anything as he'd only just split up with Elle (who he got over almost as fast as he learned to walk again!!!). I don't like Lucas's character, he's a miserable git, self-pitying and droll. I know I should be feeling sorry for him at the moment... [ more ]
The Devil In Diamante Reference: some of the Northern dialects get my attention as they're so different for my Southern ears lol. I always notice that Audrey ends words with an "aay" or "eh" sound that Southerners don't have. Ashleigh often says "ickle" for little. I used to have an online friend from Lancashire that said ickle for little, the first time she said it I didn't get what she meant lol, and the other day on tv someone said lickle for little so I guess the word little is spelt differently in some parts... Rexi I think I would be asking different questions to 'am I wrong to feel like this'. You've only just started working for this company and don't know too much about them. I'd be wanting to find out the history behind this situation. Has this person been spoken to in the past? Has it gone through proper procedures (and what are they?). Have they received ongoing training and support? I don't think that anyone is going to be able to work to their full potential with the threat of losing their job... [ more ]

Jenny Reference: brisket I have not seen it. But I bet it's closely scripted. A couple of weeks ago she was being interviewed "live" on Radio 4 and it was like pulling teeth. She had little or no spontaeneous chat. I agree! She was on The One Show just before her programme was due to start, and I actually felt sorry for Adrian and Christine (for once). It was really hard going! A presenter's worst nightmare guest, I would imagine. [ more ]

And of course in the UK, ignorance os the law is no excuse. So for instance, if you find that an item you have purchased turns out to have been stolen, then it will be confiscated, though unless you knew it was stolen you wouldn't face charges. But I'd echo what others have said - make sure it's really want you want, before you pack it in, and make sure you have an alternative in place. Talk to your student counsellor and maybe even your GP, if you think you're getting unreasonably depressed. They're there to help. [ more ]
Trixy Chicken if you are not enjoying uni then don't worry about disappointing anyone, talk to a tutor they can guide you on whether a different course may be more suitable and if not they will help you with the process of leaving. By continuing with something that makes you unhappy you will only disappoint yourself in the long run. I hope you feel better soon my lovely. Uni isnt for everyone it can be a very difficult place to be. [ more ]

"Do what you feel is right for you, nobody else can live your life" Life is way too short to be unhappy. You could be depressed a trip to your doctor may help. [ more ]
