The crossbow cannibal....

Blizz'ard Reference: spider But you know how the media love sound bites, which he has now duly provided, even though it makes absolutely no sense at all. I know and I really hope someone explains to them that part of the reason sick people like this do what they do is to achieve notoriety. The fact that he has named himself this should be a huge clue! [ more ]
Blizz'ard Reference: spider I wonder if he has ever used a crossbow, or indeed eaten another human being. The murder is on CCTV, which is how he was caught, and yes, he used a crossbow. I should say 'allegedly', although it appears that he is admitting something! [ more ]

Unbelievable!
El Loro Onetoo, I think that apart from posting a link to the webpage as Meaty has done, it's not possible to insert a BBC clip here. Another serious data leak from the Tax Office
Former Member We've recently had notification about the NHS wanting to put all of our medical records on computer for anyone involved with your care to be able to access. You have to opt out if you don't want it or they will opt you in. I have already told them that under no circumstances are they to create one of these records for me or my sons. Every govt dept seems to take data protection lightly - if they were in the private sector they would be prosecuted [ more ]

El Loro Reference: Didn't something like this happen before, where some discs went missing, which contained personal information? Yes it did. I know from someone who works for the Revenue that they had a huge search for the discs but they were never found. If I remember correctly, the data on the discs were encoded so unless someone could decode them they would be useless. [ more ]

Nelson's Ship in a Bottle
Yogi19 Your grandfather must have been an adventurous lad, El Loro. I bet he had some tales to tell. Ships in a bottle have always fascinated me - as a child, I could never understand how they got the ship in there. [ more ]
El Loro My grandfather left home at the age of 15 and ran away to sea. He was one of the very last people to sail in one of the old tea clippers - I don't know if this was the Cutty Sark because that was the last to be used. I remember as a child a model of the Cutty Sark or another tea clipper that he had made and put in a bottle. This is 100% true. [ more ]

Your LOST Finale theories.
Crunchy Nuts That was a great post Darth. I can't believe some people are suggesting that they all died in the crash of Oceanic 815 and have been dead all along. How stupid would that be? I also thought the ending was fantastic. I'm gutted it's over, but happy with the way it ended. Lost has, for me, been the best TV show ever by an absolute million miles. Nikki for Neighbours?
Eugene's Lair Reference stupidcupid Yesterday at 23:07: Good luck to her. I can never understand why people should carry so much hate for unforgettable contestants on bb. 100 contestants for BB11 launch night?
Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing Reference: Does this mean we can now pick a number up to 100 in Math's thread? Well, we could.... but if it's true then there are still only 16 going into the house. So if you picked #73, you'd be ok if they got through, but you'd have to count round lots of times to see who you had if the original '#73' DIDN'T get into the house. 16+16 is 32, and 16 is 48, and 16 is 64, and 16 is...hmmm. 73 minus 64 is 9....thus you'd end up with #9 of the 16 that got into the house. Poll: Desktop
brisket Reference: Veggieburger Ok I hope this works. Yes, it worked well Veggie. It's good. I may have to re-think my desktop. I have gone for something which doesn't irritate or confuse me, and a background which makes it easier to read the icons. Raucous starlings....etc
Dirtyprettygirlthing Awwww.... they will be juvenilles! Magpie youffs! Apparently they hang around in gangs (usually gender specific.. gangs of boys or gangs of girls)... then when they meet "the one"... the partner up with their mate for life.
