Pets for Christmas..
Marguerita It is so irresponsible to give a pet for christmas but we know it still happens, I hate any form of animal cruelty some people should never be allowed to own pets they have no clue how to look after animals [ more ]
Yogi19 Reference: His eyes light up when you say your pet is insured, cos then he can suggest all sorts of treatment because he knows the insurance company will pay up. God knows what vets charge in central London. Yep, there are definitely some vets who bump up the charges when they know the animal is insured. I think vets are like doctors, in as much as, you need to find one you have confidence in. My dog is too precious to be treated by someone who sees her as a money-making exercise, rather... [ more ]
Liverpoollass Makes me so mad Yogi. Unfortunately, we only have 2 vets in the area I live and both charge more or less the same. I know everyone has to earn a living, but there is earning a living and ripping people off by charging astronomical prices. When I mentioned it to my vet, he waffled on about how he has to pass increases on to us because everything has gone up - but he is the one driving around is an expensive car which I am paying for How he can justify over £6 for dispensing a prescription I... Student Protests...
Liverpoollass Reference: SuperCandyShortbreadbiscuit offline 10,951 Forum Posts Yesterday at 11:28 PM Last Edited: Reference: Shame some have to take the protests too far and spoilt it for those who just want to voice their anger in a non troublemaking way. Darlo, it will suit the powers that be to categorise most yp as hoodie wearing braindead yobs......I know i'm a 'fossil' but it really does p me off I don't think it has anything to do with the powers that be wanting to categorise them as "hoodie... LiveCloud update
El Loro Yesterday I sent a query to Lori and she has replied. I don't know if you ever use the search facility from the Explore menu. If you do, you will know that the replies cover all channels so that you can get lots of irrelevant replies. Lori confirms that as the channels are going their separate ways that with this update, we will still be able to search on comments, but that the replies will just be for Gagajoyjoy. I reckon that will be a big improvement [ more ]

POLL: Christmas spirit (& other drinks)
Former Member Thanks Veggie, I'll have a look around [ more ]
Former Member I normally buy a bottle of white wine and son buys some lager if he wants it. I usually keep brandy in the house (for medicinal purposes lol) but we are not big drinkers and I can't afford spirits anyway. Sprout - a lot of the little corner shops still sell minature bottles of spirits but I'm not sure about port. You could probably get a cheap one in a supermarket. My mum used to use it in mince pies I think [ more ]
