Kenneth Tong... what a tool
kattymieoww Well as long as people "Follow" this eejit, then he will continue... [ more ]
Eugene's Lair Johann Hari's Evening Standard article re his interview with Kenneth just prior to Mr Tong's "apology" can now be found here: http://johannhari.com/2011/01/...h-tong-the-interview It makes a long and depressing read, but I do think Hari has completely nailed Ken. As promised, Ken comes out with some truly staggering statements. If there was any doubt that Ken's "apology" was nothing more than a damage-limitation exercise, it's surely gone now. The real reason for his backpedalling is almost... [ more ]

Activist feels violated by relationship with undercover cop

Blizz'ard We should infiltrate the banks, maybe. Could be useful? [ more ]
Garage Joe He has been mentioned in the German parliament. He has apparently been on German demos and they are rather upset about it. I don't understand all the fuss. We knew that various political groups were infiltrated back in the early seventies, in fact we thought that the local IMG organiser was one who had ended up there due to a lack of commitment by others. That very amusing police comedy with Rowan Atkinson even had an episode specifically about the subject. [ more ]

Nick Clegg plans to air differences within the coalition government
kattymieoww Pfft! he's toast..Pity, the fool is going to take most of the flak instead of the Tories...eejit! As I stated before,we in Scotland have our parliament elections in May this year. Now the Lib dems used to do rather well here outside of the central belt, which is more Labour territory..alas the Lib Dems will be on a raft without a paddle.Scotland has one Tory MP. Dame_Ann_Average Reference: What's to hear? Surely it's pretty obvious that he spouts his disagreement and is simply told - 'too bad - this is the way we're doing it' - he replies 'OK - Dave'. In all honesty how could it be any different? - a coalition of parties that have very little in common. The vain, power hungry, hypocritical Clegg simply saw an opportunity to get (what he saw as) a bit of power and influence and waved goodbye to integrity and principles. He has damaged his party beyond measure and -... [ more ]
Soozy Woo Reference: Prick Clegg says, "You actually sit down and say we don't agree, let's work out how we agree. If people want to hear a bit more about that process, or want to just know that that is a process that goes on, I'm very relaxed about that." What's to hear? Thunderbirds 50th Anniversary.
El Loro Garage Joe, you are correct. Wiki shows this: The Adventures of Twizzle (1957–1959) Torchy the Battery Boy (first season only) (1960) Four Feather Falls (1960) Supercar (1961–1962) – first Supermarionation production. Fireball XL5 (1962–1963) Stingray (1964–1965) Thunderbirds (1965–1966) Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons (1967–1968) Joe 90 (1968–1969) The Secret Service (1969) UFO (1970–1971) The Protectors (1972–1974) Space: 1999 (1975–1977) Terrahawks (1983–1984, 1986) Dick Spanner, P.I. Garage Joe Surely some mistake! I was older than 5/6 when thunderbirds started. The first ones I remember were Supercar (no relation to soops) and fireball xl5. Stingray? Thunderbirds came later. I'm sure that Dr. Beaker, Professor Popkiss, and aquamarina would agree. [ more ]

Contempt of Court
Former Member Reference: He told my husband - some people get their fifteen minutes of fame - in my case it's thirty Heheheheh! Brilliant! [ more ]
Soozy Woo Hope this story isn't too long and convoluted but remember the guy last week who was fined four hundred pounds for flashing oncoming motorists to warn them of a speed trap? Never seen that coming...
Karma_ Reference: I think it was a rebound thing and self promoting for both of them. I could be wrong of course. Oh I think it was a rebound thing as well. She got involved too deep too fast, but I still think they both knew exactly what they were doing and how one party could benefit the other. I have never believed Alex was as into her as he made out, though. [ more ]
Karma_ God I'm so gonna sound like Choccy here (note: I do not, and never have, stacked calls for a living), but Katie Price (IMO) has made a shit load of money off the back of no redeemable talent and I've always said good luck to her because of that. From what I've seen of her, she knows it has been down to luck and good PR that has made her the money and she's open about that. While she may have a secret desire to be accepted by all, she doesn't elude that attitude and knows that a lot of people... [ more ]
Soozy Woo Reference: but who's to say that wasn't a major contribution to the arguments and ultimately, the break up? I Very true - it may well have been part of the problem. what's the best night out you've had?
Garage Joe We have a night out in Hamburg at least once a year. Any one of 'em is my best night out. Take yer pick from getting pre-loaded in either of the cocktail bars several hundred feet above the harbour, Jazz cafe's, playing chess against a stranger in regency style reading rooms, pavement eating establishments, surreal organised tours around the red light district and shops which sell devices and things, breakfast at the fischmarkt and flohmarkts. Dannii Minogue Autobiography
Soozy Woo Reference: I don't think that I would ever buy another comedian's book though. That Russell Brand one put me off for life. I'm just about to start Keef's book and then Sugar's Frank Skinners was the funniest autobiography that I've ever read - my ribs hurt with laughing. Not for the faint hearted though - very rude [ more ]
Marguerita I like Danni she has probably done more than Kylie in doing differerent things acting etc Kylie is known world wide because of her singing career, there is no way she is only famous off the back of Kylie just not as well known for all she has achieved in her life, she has been in showbiz since she was a child she was good in Home and Away she is a good actress I am going to buy her biography it should make a good read... This girl is about as original as a photocopy
Former Member Another pic of Cher's new 'image.' IMO she looks like an absolute utter twat. She doesn't look right, she doesn't look comfortable, the whole look is contrived to make her look edgy and cool , but she just looks pathetic and naff and looks like she got dressed in the dark. Former Member LOL that is gross! Stains on bikini bottoms! URGH! I also used to sell on ebay a lot. Up to about 1.5 to 2 years ago... some months I would sell £100 of stuff a month, and sometimes £50 of stuff. But I stopped in mid 2008. I did actually get over 2000 feedback. I did get just one negative around 2005, and that was from someone who gave me one because the DVD I sold them didn't have an inlay sleeve when I 'said it was new.' Is it right to have every Bristol man DNA tested?
Former Member The amount of information the Government have on us already is pretty scary, your NI number gives so much information, moreso when you have kids and you even now have to give it on a prescription (in Scotland anyway) If you buy online with a credit card thats traceable, a store clubcard holds the stuff you buy. Mount Olympus *Olly* Reference: DNA matching is not as straightforward as many people seem to think. It is not 100% accurate, and mistakes can be made. isn't that why DNA evidence alone is not enough for a conviction? sounds like they are testing close circles and seems natural to widen them further if they have no joy? am pretty sure the cost of testing every male is prohibitive and therefore not the first port of call.. as for having my DNA on record..
