I hate tattoos they look bloody awful. It seems to have become fashionable for footballers to have 8 billion tattoos on their arms making them look like someone graffitied the hell out of them while they were asleep. The older people get the more they're going to look at all their tattoos and think 'what sort of a plonker am I?'. Karma I think they're just finding their feet. I loved Steve through the auditions and JLo seems to know a bit about what she's talking about but hopefully they now crack down on the singers and not just blow smoke up their arse. Randy seems to have taken on the role of Judge who tells it like it is and I'd like to see the other 2 do just that aswell but on a whole I like this panel more than the previous.....probably just because it all got a little stale. Dogs love to participate and they also have the ability make their own fun. They have wonderful senses of humour and I just love to see and hear their "laugh". I have seen people at dog shows, tie their dogs to their chairs - then something catches the attention of the dogs and they take off, swiftly depositing their owners onto the ground - just like in the video!! I needed a wire for my lawn mower last year looked online they 17 quid plus p&p, i posted a wanted on freecycle and got one no probs didnt even think it might not work ( i bunged the bloke a fiver as a thank you cos he'd saaved me about £20 and tme having to wait for delivery etc.) [ more ]

My vinyl collection was stolen in a burglery didn't care about the dvd player and stereo-gram! Gutted, had them all in those protective plastic sleeves which you could buy. And also stored in easy to carry (and therefore rob) record cases They didn't touch my GF's of the time as the messy cow had them shoved on a shelf. All those memories - gone, from my Dexy's Midnight Runners to the Specials, from my Marrillion albums to my rare Stone Roses 12" of 'Tell me' all gone.. Used to love the old... [ more ]

Very interesting thread. I still go by the adage that there are two types of music, good and bad. It's easy to dismiss the late fifties to early sixties as Bill Haley, Elvis Presley, dross. It was only later in my life I discovered Bee-Bop, Dolphy, Mingus, Coltrane, Davis and such. The same theory applies to every decade, there's always something good going on. IMO obviously. [ more ]
