Carnelian Firefox for here, Opera for just about everywhere else. I.E. only when absolutely necessary. Tried Chrome, didn't like it, don't like the way Google applications always want to communicate with the internet in the background even when there's no Google applications running. [ more ]

Carnelian Ed Miliband, is proving to be a leader of contrasts. Sometimes he devastates Cameron and other times Cameron makes mincemeat of him. I don't like the guff about 'the squeezed middle' as I think it's a lazy meaningless catch all slogan, like 'alarm clock Britain'. I wasn't impressed with his rubber stamping of the latest war but overall I think he's doing a reasonably good job. Soozy Woo Ditty ........I took my son to the Dyslexia Institute (30 miles away) and got him officially diagnosed - not a lot of point as the area that we lived in didn't recognise Dyslexia then. We live close to a border so got him into a secondary school in an area that did recognise it .............not a lot of point really as they were worse than useless. I fully understand though how hard it is for schools as you really do need to get right inside the childs head to understand how they see things. [ more ]
