Pan am
~Sparkling Summer~ I know right Suzy?! I want to walk in formation, it looks like fun! *practices getting hair to bounce* I hear that it's in the middle ground when it comes to ratings in America, let's hope it does well because they often axe shows that I love! Former Member wonder if it's getting good ratings as it seems surprising that they showed episodes 3 and 4 on Saturday night and the repeat is going to be on Thursday - I hate it when channels switch the times and day early in a programme's run I actually love it and think it's fun viewing if you don't take it too seriously As for American Horror story - it is scary in parts but not enough to scare me into not sleeping [ more ]

Government to have INDEMNITY scheme to enable people to borrow up to 95% of the house value to enable people to buy a house.
Former Member I seriously have to congratulate everyone on this thread, from the opening post, to the posts that followed: I agree with everything everyone says here!!! Seriously, the government make me so angry that I don't know whether to cry or smash something! I am not even 40 yet, but in my lifetime, I don't think I can recall a government that has let the public down on such an epic scale. It's reached a point now where it's become almost laughable... Carnelian Privatising profits, nationalising loses. Don't underestimate this lousy, incompetent, self serving government's ability to chuck money around to buy votes to save its worthless neck. They're crossing their fingers that they can enrich themselves before the electorate wise up and boot them out. They're hoping they can pump enough hot air into a new housing/credit bubble by 2015 to disguise the fact that everyone except the rich is worse off. Can't really blame them, it's what the country has... [ more ]

36 year old woman jailed for life, for killing her grandmother after robbing her savings!
Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing It would seem that it wasn't so much FOR the money, but to prevent the Grandmother finding out that some of her money had already been stolen by the Granddaughter. And for her pains the stupid Granddaughter will serve a minimum of 22 years in prison. Meaning she'll be at least 58 before she gets out. As Mr Fluffy Thing says, the Grandmother would probably have let Graunddaughter off with, at worst, a bit of an earwigging if she'd just told Gran what she'd done and said sorry. [ more ]

suzybean My sons are mega Chelsea fans (the first 2 in my huge family to support them) and they are teased by their uncles about being trophy hunters etc. I'm quite pleased that Man City are doing so well.
