Who opens prezzies early?!?
Former Member I use to open them on Christmas Eve because I was dating an Austrian and they open their on that day during Heilige Abend and I carried on the tradition for a bit Now I tend to open them at 12.01am precisely cos I can never wait till the morning. I think it goes back to my childhood because my sister was a sod and would open us kids pressies and eat all our chocolate before we got up not that I get many presents these days - the dog gets more than I do [ more ]

Living With The Amish
Former Member I also love the community spirit Pengy. Something that is massively missing in society today. [ more ]
Former Member I was gobsmacked at how 'liberal' thinking for Amish people the home they went to was - women allowed to work in the work shop that's progressive for Amish I couldn't be doing with the rules or religion but I love the sense of community with the Amish and I have a feeling the boys will take much more on board than the girls because the girls see themselves as slaves, chained to the kitchen sink where as the boys are getting in there with the barn raising and a good honest days work The girls... Is this a forum or a place for everyone to agree with eachother.
kimota I had a lively debate today over on Ds with 'Veri'. Does he or she post here? We were arguing over whether slating someone's appearance is just as bad as slating their personality.
