Dirtyprettygirlthing I love it when the dog is dreaming.. and I agree Velvet... it really does show a depth of intelligence there that is rarely awarded to animals... we get the full range of dreams from AJ.. the waggy yippy happy ones, the feet twitchy chasing ones.. and my fave - the snarling/growling ones (we put this one down to him dreaming about men with ladders or men in British Gas uniforms, both of which he thinks are public enemy no. 1) [ more ]

Cinds More often than not when Mr C and I get in to bed, we actually lie in the same postion, without realising it. We might have one arm chucked behind our heads, but we do it. We mirror each other a lot in that respect, even just the way we might stand, or sit etc. [ more ]

Eugene's Lair Harryhausen was one of the great cinematic originals, and his death is a great loss. The best tribute I can think of is that when "The Mummy Returns" was released with some dodgy special effects to turn Dwayne Johnson into the Scorpion King, Empire magazine claimed that Ray Harryhausen could have done better with a lump of Play-Doh!
