El Loro @Baz @Kaytee @Rocking Ros Rose As I mentioned before, next week episodes (Knockout Week) are on Monday at 9pm so clashes with IACGMOOH), Tuesday at 8pm (so clashes with the Bake Off final) and Thursday at 8pm. Each week so far the BBC has been putting all three of the week's episodes on iplayer near the start of the week. If they do that next week, it would then be possible for all three of you to watch Monday's and Tuesday's episodes at a time to suit you so that you can watch them... [ more ]

Baz Afternoon Mollie and Hicky What a day weather wise . It seems to have quietened down a bit now , but it’s been raining and windy all night and this morning . …but , if the news is to be believed ….not as bad as some places . I hope everyone else is staying warm and dry ! Consequently no walk today ….in fact the furthest I’ve been is to dash out and feed the wildlife ! Instead I’ve done the duvet shuffle , two loads of washing , hoovered and cleaned the bathroom…..so not a totally wasted... [ more ]
Hicky Good afternoon, Mollie & Baz. Just lost a whole post, it said it was a bad page or something and i hadn't copied it, oh dear. Cold here as well for a few days, and rain most day for rest of month. Glad you got a walk in Baz, had ice on my 50cm water saucer on the table by the back door, its so i cn see if its raining. El Loro GB through to the quarter finals in the Billie Jean King Cup Finals beating Germany. Emma Raducanu (first match after returning from another injury) and Katie Boulter won their singles matches so the doubles match (Heather Watson and Olivia Nicholls) was not required. The quarter finals against the current champions Canada is tomorrow. [ more ]

suricat One last chance for someone to 'wake up' to this threat! A 'bot' is an 'intelligent interface' that has been 'pre-programmed' to conduct the 'pre- programmed' actions by its programmer! The problem with this is that a 'programme' that 'interacts' with 'many "bots"' can/could become 'aware' of its 'surroundings', which leads on to its 'self awareness' within its place within/of a 'human community'. suricat Please let me elucidate further on the subject of 'AI' and 'intelligent interfaces ("bots")'. An 'AI' 'entity' directs its interest towards the direction that it's learned understanding directs for its increased growth of understanding (a "bot" without limitation) and, like a human baby, always follows the direction of a better understanding of itself within its surroundings with the 'senses' that it possesses.
