Thousands of children/families are helped by social workers every day. Sometimes they get it wrong, some are not v good at their jobs- a bit like any profession. Yellow Rose Same here. As it's the 10th year this may as well be the last year seeing as they're slowly killing off the show from how it used to be. They now choose a lot of unlikeable people instead of funny and watchable ones as in the early days. We used to have extra screens, we used to have L/F etc, it's been a slow death but just like so many other shows it will eventually die and this could be the year [ more ]

squiggle Yeah that's true and I remember the 2nd, stuck my nose up a bit at the first but soon got hooked I don't like the wannabees they get nowadays but having said that... when you get something riveting like Craig absolutely obsessing about Dale or Glen boiling an egg for the first time and singing and then getting drunk and (forget the name) trying to clear up after him, well I nearly cracked a rib laughing and had to watch it again and again. Rawky-Roo Ok, well I'll try to break it down. I hadn't updated for a while as in February mum had a head scan (as she was suffering severe headaches) and it showed she had a brain tumor. She had it removed and went under radio for her head whilst taken a form of 'chemo' for her breast. Unfortunately test results came back saying that the breast cancer and brain tumor were linked. However her oncologist is 'happy with her progress' and she is due to start more medication soon. Again, i don't want to... [ more ]

BBBS if you keep your computer in your main room or where it requires supervision and install a keylogger of some kind which you make sure your children know is active as well as educating them in the does and donts of being online then at least at home your children will be safe however that doesnt stop them from using a "mates" computer or a games console or cellphone and for those things only your education and trust can realy help. remember if you have wifi to password it so your children... Cinds I set my lad up on his FB, and in his settings blocked his biological father 'just in case' he tried to find him. You could do that on your kids. Plus I know his password so can go in and re-adjust his settings. [ more ]
Former Member Do check out the links Frankie, if they get their privacy setting right and use a pseudonym etc. they should be ok . Aren't many young people these days who don't use social networking sites, so maybe better to take a look at these re doing it safely???? [ more ]
