According to the Bookies....
forgetmenot terribel shame, I really like angel, they just act like a pack in there, they are trying to eliminate any one who they think has a good chance, like Angel and Freddie, get rid of the best ones..they all looked so smug when the results of nominations were heard! [ more ]
Tweety YAY [ more ]
captain marbles If BB want Charlie to be this years winner, and that wouldn't surprise me in the slightest, then everything is going to plan for them. The only problem being that they're gong to dump all the interesting characters and a hell of a lot of their audience in the process. [ more ]

I know a lot of people DONT LIKE HIM but he is
brisket I think he has pre-empted and aggravated some arguments instead of using his talents to avoid them. He tries to give the impression of being an expert in humanity, but he most certainly isn`t. He would do well to swear less too. Afraid he`s near the bottom of my list. [ more ]
kazzy I dont think a lot of people "get" Marcus. I dont think he has a lot of confidence... you could see him physically shaking when he was trying to play the recorder in the task. He is clearly taking the piss when he talks himself up. He just needs a good scrub [ more ]
cup i still like him [ more ]

BOBS GONE
Former Member When I first watched Neighbours was when Brad and his family lived in the house that I think the Kennedys took over, I think his parents were called Doug and Pam but I could be wrong. I think that Sarah was around then or joined shortly after. I don't watch it now but I don't mind it - at least it's cheery and the characters are mostly likeable [ more ]
littleleicesterfox I'm trying to remember when Dr. Karl and Suse broke up for the first time which was caused by Sarah and Dr. K kissing which would give us a timeline on Bob. I would say it's about 13 years or so - Toadie said yesterday that he was 12 or 13. Ooh, there was a discussion about this but I can't find the thread which is so frustrating. I must admit I don't watch any other soaps so Neighbours is my little indulgence. I've been watching it pretty much from the start and it kind of cheers me up. [ more ]
Former Member Ooh true confessions Say 10 Hail Marys and perform an act of contrition So he was Sarahs from the start then? He must still have been about 15 years old in soap years! I've never really been a soap fan. My boys got into Neighbours and Home and Away when they used to stay with my mum in the holidays so I have watched them for a while many years ago. I did watch Neighbours for a while a year or so back when my eldest came back from Uni and was watching it. It is my fave soap of them all though. [ more ]

What were Noirin's reasons for nominating Freddie?
Videostar I think Freddie is all too aware how it would have looked if he had chosen himself [/QUOTE] Do you really think he's that cunning to think like that? Remember, Norin is the gameplayer (even her fans admit that) not Freddie, if he was playing a game he wouldn't be the way he is and standing up for what he believes in. [ more ]
storm Can't believe anyone would even dream of defending Noirin now. And as for saying the OTHERS nominated him too... so what? THEY weren't given a massive favour by Freddie like SHE was. (A favour which she seemed very grateful for!) She is not a very nice person, and I think a lot of people are seeing through her now. By the way, awesome post from Towno [ more ]
Demantoid Agree, Blizzie As soon as she nommed him (with the most pathetic, rote-learned excuse for doing so) I knew it was a stitch-up. [ more ]

I knew it, Norin nominates Freddie.
Former Member You are right when she is up I just might vote for her to leave. [ more ]
Videostar Which ever way you slice it she is a con woman and a liar (as she admitted about herself the other night) she got her face back thanks to Freddie and she still noms him. [ more ]
Former Member I defended Noirin against Sree and felt sure she would nom him this week,I am gutted she nom'd Freddie ,especially after Freddie made it possible for Norin not to have to wear the glasses, moustache. I can only assume that Noirin is usung Sree and is aware that this situation gets her air time. [ more ]

Lisa is my least favourite housemate
Blizz'ard I waver between Lisa and Marcus. Kris and Charlie just bore me really. [ more ]
SpiderMonkey Jesse, I made a thread earlier about Wolves, Shepherds, and Sheep. It was about a rant Freddie had with Angel last night, and from the brief mention of "wolves" on BBLB, I assume the theme is continuing. Freddie talked about the majority of the housemates being Sheep who will follow the lead of the strongest housemates. He talked about Kris and Lisa being the Wolves, happy to let the Sheep follow them, but then pick them off one by one. He says the Sheep can be made to follow the Shepherds... [ more ]

Halfwit and Noirin gossip about Angel (Re: fat comments)
Cold Sweat What clique? I have noticed this season that gossip does seem to be having a big impact upon nominations. Angel is the housemate that i have seen Sophie in the company of the least. I believe that nominating Angel was quite an obvious selection for her to make. However, the information that Sophie used to support her nomination (imo) has come from conversations that she has listened to; firstly from the morning that Freddie confronted Kris in the bathroom, and latterly in the company of... cup there would be many a way you could motivate someone do keep fit calling them big arse and fat would be the least thing to say especially from a fitness instructor of all people everyone every where knows weight issues are touchy subjet for any girl of any shape of size big or thin just as i would hate anyone of the housemate to slate angels body image i think it is wrong for angel to slate theres. [ more ]
fabienne I think it's okay to joke about being overweight. Well, I assume so, as I work with an overweight woman who is always making jokes about it and encouraging others to join in. I'm not comfortable with it myself, but if she does it, it seems rude not to laugh at her jokes. Oh confusing! [ more ]

freddie
Heartache I like the fact he is different, l don't like plastic people, or the terminally stupid. And whilst his appreciation of what he is eating or drinking and the mmmmmmmm's would irritate. Sophie and Sree's inability to eat with their mouth's shut would disgust me beyond description. [ more ]
brisket I think Freddie is a good chap. Kind and courteous. He is more tolerant than most of the rest put together. He makes efforts. He sings in tune. The sound of his voice is more pleasing to me than almost all the others. I think his heart is in the right place. I like him. [ more ]

Why do the housemates seem to dislike Freddie? (halfwit)
sunny dayz I agree, i think after seeing him on live feed i can see how he is annoying them, he would me. [ more ]
Twee Surgeon Freddie is a very nice young man who wears his class, his education, and his wealth very well. It was inevitable he would run into people who would be his polar opposite, but I don't think he was prepared for such a culture shock. He is probably seeing chavdom in all its glory for the first time. He is a round peg in a square hole. He doesn't fit in. His accent is that of a toff, he went to Oxford and gained his degree, he lives in a lovely big house in the country surrounded by 100 acres of... [ more ]
captain marbles It's became very easy in the first week because Freddie dirrentiated himself from the crowd in a number of ways, deliberately or otherwise. He tried to impose his own bedtime regime on the house when it is obvious that the majority were keen to fall in with the BB norm as regards staying up to all hours and getting up as late as possible. Imposing Cambridge university hours on a tin hut in Elstree betrayed equal amounts of naivety and arrogance on his part and was probably enough to earn him... [ more ]

Good,Cheap Backpool Hotel..
Former Member That weekend with the taxi/gang incident ... I stayed in a hotel at the pleasure beach end of the prom, and some of my mates stayed in a cheap B&B near the main shopping bit. When we met up again, I said: "Well, mine's not too bad I suppose" and they all started laughing. Turns out theirs was run by a landlady with a hook for a hand, yes a hook like that mad mullah bloke has, and she ran through a huge list of DO NOTs before showing them their room. They said it was grim, with floral... [ more ]

Lisa has a go at Freddie again?
darloboy (Play The Game!) . He's strong and he won't let the upset about being up get him down, as it's what they want. They underestimate him so much so now he just couldn't care. [ more ]
Demantoid Sree has got no right to start crowing. He's spent most of the past week or so on the edge of tears and hysteria, fake-threatening to leave and all sorts. Now he's off the hook for another week, he feels like picking on someone he perceives as weaker? What a nasty little wart he is. [ more ]
Hollygolightly Agree with you Darlo. Did you hear Sree speak about Freddie last night, Freddie was lying on his bed (obviously upset) when Sree had the cheek to say 'Oh Halfwit is off in his own world") nochantly getting in with Lisa and her cronies. I was delighted when Freddie said, I'm here and can hear you. What absolute tossers they all are. I was left feeling so sad for Freddie [ more ]

Demantoid I really hope so, Twee I so agree with you about the "negative and joyless" numpties in there. How does he cope? I'd be screaming the place down if I was cooped up with such a collection of imagination-free bores. [ more ]
Twee Surgeon Before the task got going, Kris threw the towel in. But that's ok, cos he is Kris innit. I don't know how Freddie lives in there surrounded by such negative and joyless people. He must feel so left out and isolated. As an aside, I watched the video of the Angel water throwing incident instigated by Charlie. Freddie ran out and confronted him, ending with the immortal words 'grow up man'. I think we will see a bit more of sparky Freddie now. It's about time he faced his enemies methinks. [ more ]

fookat yes this is why i hope theyll put someone new in soon after all the have to replace Saffia [ more ]
swg so when your favs are up, bb should mess around with nominations? look, nominations work the same way the always have, it's part of the game. it's a game show and some hosuemates are playing the game. they aren't breaking the rules of the game by talking about noms so they aren't doing anything wrong so the **** what if freddie is up every week? where does it say in the rulebook that isn't allowed? it's all part of the game. Only 3 housemates didn't vote for him this week and only 2 didn't... [ more ]
