squiggle Well said captain marbles. A lot of people have taken a lot of time to 'get' Freddie and many people last year believed the hype about Rachel and never got her at all. They are both lovely people and the world is better off with people like Rachel and Freddie in it rather than Lisa and Kris types, of which IMO there are already too many. [ more ]

langster Well the good news is that the insurance companies are forcing peoples hands. They are refusing to insure people that are not licenced. And the MCA (Maritime Coastguard Agency) are pushing for a similar system to the French, German and Spanish one. I had to laugh recently. CaptVimes I dont know who in their right mind would consider putting to sea without taking a captaincy course. Yea I dont understand why its not mandatory either. The rules for accidents between boats at sea are quite shocking too. I remember when one of my friends got hit by one of those rich toy owners. Could have ruined them because their yacht was their home too not a plaything. Most people dont even know what the warning flags on the beach are. The lilo dingys in windy weather are the worst aye. Yogi19 BB gave Siavash the impression that he will be up next week, by telling him `as voting has already started for this weeks eviction, your punishment will take place next week` (or words to that effect). I don`t think he was lying to the HMs, more telling them what he genuinely believes his punishment will be. [ more ]

jeanoj I am just getting over swine flu! I have no idea how I caught it but it could have been at Kos airport waiting for a 10 hour delayed flight along with thousands of others packed into a very small and hot place! It has lasted just over a week and is very similar to ordinary flu - aches and pains, runny nose etc. I also had diarhoea for the fist couple of days. The worse part for me was the persistent, dry cough that has bruised all my insides and I feel like I have done 10 rounds with Mike... [ more ]
Baz It's that antibacterial gel Forgetmenot... you can buy it in any supermarket or chemist.... it's the stuff you can use when you are not able to wash your hands. I think it is similar to what they use in hospitals, but i am not sure. I don't think it works against viruses, just bacteria, but every little helps [ more ]
