Thoughts on the staging of the final
Marguerita I liked the music being played I cant recall any fireworks this year, I dont like HMS wearing sunglasses I like to see someones eyes when I am talking listening to them they should have been asked to remove them ,I liked the final this year [ more ]
stonks Reference: This is always my grip every new year - so much money wasted when we're in a recession and all those 1000's of pounds could be spent on much more worthy things! But all those thousands of punds are keeping peole in work.. [ more ]
Kaytee I liked the music.....especially Steph's Dynasty tune when she sashayed out of the house....that was some exit. As for the fireworks...well you have to have something to make the winner's exit special, or their exit would be the same as everyone else's. I always find the exit interviews boring...they're out, so bye bye. That's the time I take a loo break or make a cuppa. [ more ]

Cat Deeley ......I've always loved her
Garage Joe Reference: Cat Deely is gorgeous. Started with Ant and Dec, but doesn't seem to have the same exposure as they have Would love to see her on our screens back home as she is a great presenter Absolutely correct I'll never understand how Twit and Twat have made it so big either. [ more ]
Fairfax Reference: Scotty We? I`ve never liked her never mind loved her. She may have gained money in the US but she certainly never gained fame. It`s a big wide world in America and she just didn`t cut it. That`s why she`s back. She`s insincere and cheesy. She`s adopted the American fixed smile and hairdo. Saturday night crap suits her perfectly. I switch off whenever I see her... and breathe [ more ]

Former Member He wasn't in a locker room though was he? Don't miss your flight back to obscurity, and mind your tail doesn't get caught between your legs eh? [ more ]
carpet Ha ha. I was waiting for Vinnie or another HM to say they helped Alex to his victory. Yes, Vinnie, you took the piss out of Alex but one thing Alex did and what you couldn't do was to have a laugh at himself and not to take things too seriously. [ more ]

Its over - i'm gutted
brisket I agree with Yellow Rose and Bazille. Yes, there is a feeling of "missing it" when it is over, but I agree with them that it is the sharing on here that adds so much to the pleasure. Having nice people to share our views of BB with only adds to the enjoyment. [ more ]
Baz Reference: As well as missing CBB I'll miss the interaction on the Forum. It's been like a family gathering with all the chatter Although we all liked different HM's I never saw anything nasty being aimed at an FM because of different choices - if there was I missed it I agree 100% [ more ]
Yellow Rose As well as missing CBB I'll miss the interaction on the Forum. It's been like a family gathering with all the chatter Although we all liked different HM's I never saw anything nasty being aimed at an FM because of different choices - if there was I missed it I can't get excited about BB yet as I equate that show with wannabe's, I'll probably get into it though after a while, as usual lol. Thanks to everyone here for your company and points of view the last few weeks will have to find out... [ more ]

CBB7 final gets 4 million viewers.
brisket Thanks darlo. It might be worth remembering that while there are devoted fanse (such as us on this forum) there may not be a growing following. New viewers may not be attracted. Sometimes it is best to fade away in a dignified fashion than to have one last try and embarrass themselves. [ more ]

We have lots of students in our local Sainsburys who are in PJ's quite a lot and there was me thinking it was rag week or a dare but now I think it's student attire for shopping in!!! [ more ]

Favourite Celeb BB Winner? (poll)
Tayto. I never laughed as much when Ulrika won last year. I was never a fan but after the horrible attitude of Coolio towards women and the fellas thinking they had it all sewn up she stuffed them. I agree that Shipa won by default. [ more ]

Dirtyprettygirlthing I haven't tried the mint matchmaker ones.. but then I am not keen on flavoured chocolate (such as mint or orange).. I'm also not keen on the smarties cookies. So glad Alex won!
Yogi19 Alex is a sweet, good-natured guy and I am delighted he won. [ more ]
Scotty I`m so glad he won...he deserved it! [ more ]
Tequila Reference: Certianly glad Alex beat Dane. Dane was about as creepy as Jonas at times lol. Steph perhaps was better than 5th out of that final 5. An Alex / Vinnie final two would have been funny, better than having mini-Vinnie in there (might as well have the real thing). There couldn't have been that many votes in it between dale, vinnie, steph and jonas as Alex won with a massive 69.9% [ more ]

Don't the bookies spoil it!
Kaytee Well at least Alex knows that he won on his own merits and certainly not because he's KP's bf. I was a bit surprised that the crowd booed even the mention of her name, but the BB audience always cheers and boos those they like/dislike...it's the pantomime aspect of the show. [ more ]
Tequila Reference: There was no need to do that No...there was no need whatsoever.......Alex had just won CBB and his joy was shortlived having to listen to that [ more ]

longcat Reference: Congrats on your happy marriage longcat Thanks Scotty my husband was the best decision I ever made [ more ]
Scotty Reference: longcat I don't think I will ever understand why people wish total unhappiness on someone. Nobody knows what goes on in a relationship or knows what makes another person happy. My husband and I are chalk and cheese and nobody thought we would last.. But 30 years later we are still together and adore each other and people still don't get it. I`ll never understand it either. Even if they "think" they know what`s going on in a relationship, which of course they don`t, surely people... [ more ]

I hope Stevie B isn't boo'ed tonight
Yellow Rose I thought Stephen was great entertainment and a good HM. Don't really understand why he bothered so many of the GP to evict him. Maybe they didn't get his humour maybe it was the Bible stuff, but I enjoyed him being there. [ more ]
Free Thinking Stephen was one of the stars of this show, no question. But the biggest stars don't always get to the final of course. Endemol did give him the Bible every day, and some of the HMs (some partly out of boredom in there I guess) liked it read to them. Going beyond all that religious stuff though he was funny. He went over the top about Nicola, but that's what the house can do to people. And it's impossible for HMs to remember every word they said. I also think Nicola DID break the rules over... [ more ]
Former Member I really don't want him to go tonight - the fact that he is bonkers is the reason he's a great house mate [ more ]

* high five Jonas *
Yellow Rose I didn't take to Katia, Jonas always puzzled me as to his real personality, liked some of his moments in the house, didn't like others. The best thing I can say about him is that for me he had the best dress sense of all the men in the house.. [ more ]
Cold Sweat Reference: But she needed the money I think I assume her appearance fee and payment from a week long newspaper exclusive will equal a tidy sum and provide her with an independence that she may never have previously experienced. The big money spinner for young female ex housemates has usually been Nuts/Zoo - but no sign at this stage of Katia exploring the glamour route. [ more ]
Free Thinking He goes by the crowd reaction. Katia was booed when she left, and her name was booed at his interview. So in a way I suppose he played the game right, but it is a cruel game and Katia always seemed not really to know how to play it and perhaps because of that couldn't really enjoy it. But she needed the money I think, I'm not sure if the fame aspect is so important to her (it's not like the papers have been nice about her anyway in the past). [ more ]

Head of Five interested in CBB?
LowonIQ Every bit of information gives a chink of hope [ more ]
Eugene's Lair This seems to confirm a number of rumours and stories that have been going around recently: The viewing figures for CBB7 have encouraged Endemol to try to keep CBB going on it's own (i.e. without "proper" BB); Sky aren't interested; but... Another TV station might be. [ more ]
Baz I agree Spidermonkey.......... it must pull in enough viewers for a once a year lot....... [ more ]
