O/T my neighbours advice please

Karma_ Reference: (and even your house foundations). I used to have 2 small conifers planted near the porch and I was told that the roots grow under the house and can disturb the foundations. I don't know anything about leylandii, but it looks like it's from the same family as conifer. I was told sunflowers are a bugger to rid of aswell. Tayto. It was very funny last night watching Victor wandering around the house on his own and spending a little bit of time at the TOT. Did he think he was going to get a task at 2.00am? Nick was watching all from his bed and had a wiley giggle to himself at one stage. I'm not sure if Victor said something to him or not. Then Nick gets up for a cigarette and had a wander round as well. Are they up to something or is Nick playing a mean game? [ more ]

Soozy Woo Although Victor was incensed to hear himself described in those terms- it is how he is remembered. The HM's knew exactly who brian was describing. i had high hopes for Victor but if he can't see that it was all part of the game ..............then - he's not really that bright and possibly hasn't really matured at all. I'm pretty sure if he goes in and targets Brian he'll lose a lot of support and the benefit of doubt that a lot of people have given him. [ more ]
KeenViewer Sitting in that room with Michelle is probably enough to get anyone angry. And my recollection of fight night is that a small dishevilled woman, who had unsuccessfully tried to get Victor's attention by bursting in on him in the toilet on several occasions, had thrown a plate at him. I'll have to get better and come up. We get a lot of Scots visitors. My Mum was brought to live in Blackpool when she was 7 years old (in the 1930s) and it saved her life as she was very severely asthmatic, and of course there were no puffers or steroids. Soozy Woo In all honesty I think it was quite clear that the dynamics were all wrong. Coolio was trying all his old tricks and the HM's weren't playing ball. it was obviously wrong to have Coolio in there without two or three stooges ..........it was a mutual decision because it wasn't working either way. Yellow Rose This show should be called cbb, not, ubb. There's nothing Ultimate about this. Ultimate implies better than, bigger than and similar stuff, there's nothing special or extra about this show. The hm's sit around all day doing nothing. except eating and talking about celebs. They've had no interesting tasks and they go to bed early, well last night bb kept them up with a game but that's it. Karma_ I have a lot of Irish family (Northern Ireland) and I think the same applies there too (same in Scotland I think?) They get about 3 months off in the summer but they don't have half term or owt in between. I'd much rather have it the way it is here. [ more ]
stonks Reference: I didn't realise you has such long school holidays over there, I know in the US (Florida) they break up around Jun going back mid August, But they don't get much time off through out the year, just the odd day here and there. Exam students breakup later and the schools like to get rid of all the others so there's peace and quiet for those doing exams plus we are rural and most work is done in summer but ours do have less holidays through the year....
