Old vinyl records
Cosmopolitan ❤️
Perones My vinyl collection was stolen in a burglery didn't care about the dvd player and stereo-gram! Gutted, had them all in those protective plastic sleeves which you could buy. And also stored in easy to carry (and therefore rob) record cases They didn't touch my GF's of the time as the messy cow had them shoved on a shelf. All those memories - gone, from my Dexy's Midnight Runners to the Specials, from my Marrillion albums to my rare Stone Roses 12" of 'Tell me' all gone.. Used to love the old... [ more ]

FAVOURITE ERA..50's60's70's80's etc..
Garage Joe Very interesting thread. I still go by the adage that there are two types of music, good and bad. It's easy to dismiss the late fifties to early sixties as Bill Haley, Elvis Presley, dross. It was only later in my life I discovered Bee-Bop, Dolphy, Mingus, Coltrane, Davis and such. The same theory applies to every decade, there's always something good going on. IMO obviously. [ more ]

Temps Erm....it's Epstein that's the convicted paedophile...not Prince Andrew. Admittedly it's not a great choice in friendships, but he's not the criminal. Don't see why he should be sacked over it, unless it's a case of hidden agendas were peeps have been looking to get rid of him for a while. After all, one of the photos was dated December wasn't it? Garage Joe I don't understand what all the fuss is about. Unless Cameron is going to bring back socialism later on, this country relies on trade. We don't make much anymore but have to try to sell weapons or whatever in the marketplace. This means we need to be as corrupt as everyone else. Be careful what you wish for. I'd love it all to collapse but I can imagine people on here bleating on about it being everyone else's fault. [ more ]
