For those who didn't see the Eastenders episode during Red Nose night
Yellow Rose I saw the Whitney sketch on Sunday's omnibus edition. Agree that Rob and the girl were convincing and it highlighted what goes on in real life for some unfortunately. Watched tonight's EE and the continuity, as usual at times, was frustrating. Whitney escaped from the house so why on the following day isn't she back on the Square?...did the couple in the car help her or not? did they take her to the police or not? it's frustrating when they carry a storyline over too many episodes [ more ]

I think I'm in fake love again...
brisket I think that Brian Cox, the actor, is very good indeed. But smiling Professor Brian Cox is becoming more irritating by the day to me. Perhaps his face is fixed, and he is unable to do anything about it. But that sort of permanent smiling strikes me as rather unnatural, and I'd love to wipe his smile away. His speaking style I also find very annoying. Apart from that he's OK I suppose. [ more ]

Carnelian I looked at the line up and wondered why there are so many non-comedians involved like Davina McCall. It's Lenny Henry's gig where he gets to be a poverty tourist for a few weeks. It's just not funny and the style of comedy is safe and cheesy. I remember last time Harry Hill just used old TV burp material so couldn't be bothered to write any new stuff for it. Former Member I think she is OK, but rather over-rated. Thing is, there is so little talent in the charts these days, that someone with a fairly normal singing talent and who can hold a note, is regarded as 'amazing' and gifted and talented. She is OK but is not as good as she is made out to be IMO. Even people I have spoken to of the 13 to 23 age group, think that music in the charts is shit, and most 'commercial' stuff is rubbish. UN approves no fly zone
SpiderMonkey Hi Xochi, hi everyone. Yes our Royal Airforce is rather limp these days, with the immediate withdrawl of the Harrier strike aircraft and it's launch platform, the Ark Royal. The Tornado GR4 is already overstretched with commitments in Afghanistan and squadrons being mercilessly cut in the SDSR.
