MASTERCHEF!! The FINAL!!
Katerina It was a good final, the three of them were all worthy of winning. The food looked amazing....I would have loved to taste the trio of burgers that Tim made, and the chocolate ravioli with partridge that Sara made, and Tom's roast pork. Gregg Wallace does make me laugh when he tastes a dessert and looks like he's going to melt into his chair, then gets struck dumb and all he can say is 'laarrrrvellyy' [ more ]

Ells On topic again, my fav time of day is late evening. Don't get me wrong I love my kids but that hour after they've been to bed when it's just me at home is great. Their dad comes home then and the peace is disturbed so I've got a one hour window between kids going to bed and him coming home where I just enjoy the quietness and relax. And kids TV isn't so bad I usually find myself still watching certain cartoons and then realising the kids aren't even in! Horrid Henry is pretty good and I'm... [ more ]

how much do you spend on your OH's birthday..?
Cinds Don't really have a set amount, just buy what we think each other would want. The most I have ever spent on him for a birthday (although I did say it was for Christmas too as his birthday is quite close (I did buy his Christmas crap too)) was £1750 on a watch he really loved. Edited to add: It was his 40th birthday [ more ]
Cagney I get him whatever he wants. Last year was a £30 DVD boxset. Year before was a £100 watch. Year before was the cinema and a pizza. Whatever he wants. We don't buy for each other throughout the year. Only birthdays and Christmas. [ more ]

Secret Millionaire, new Series
Garage Joe Apparently my pal's brother was on last night! He kept that quiet! You say that last night 's SM was more generous. The previous visitor to the area has kept in touch and is a regular visitor, giver, fund raiser, and more importantly as generous with his skills and expertise. [ more ]
