Former Member Borgen is by far the best programme on the telly box atm I hope we don't have to wait too long to see the second series as I'm sure BBC4 will show it I hope the Americans don't do a remake if their version of The Killing is anything to go by [ more ]
Garage Joe Rather like their version of The Killing, one can watch one UScepisode and then dismiss it out of hand. Maybe Danish TV could do a remake of Deadwood? [ more ]
Eugene's Lair The second series ended its run in Denmark in November. The last I heard, there hadn't been a decision yet on whether it would be shown on BBC4, but I'd have been surprised if it wasn't, as the first series seems to have gone down well. The third series won't be broadcast in Denmark until the Autumn. Be afraid though: there's been serious talk of an American remake. I can't imagine how that would work in a country that doesn't really "do" coalition politics, though... [ more ]

Do you have people like this in your town?
Former Member Never been to Nottingham, but I think every town has its chavs. It does piss me off though when people slag off the town they come from, but it pisses me off more when people come from outside (the town OR the UK) and slag it off; that really makes me see red. Any gardeners about?
Cinds Thank you all for the advice. The point of the roses was that Mr Cinds mothers name was Rose and we chose roses to have in the house as respect to his dads passing. So them sprouting regrowth meant a lot to us. Anyway, we are going to try to replant the new growths, but if they don't take, I have found this Rose plant, but I will probs buy it anyway. The Rose is called Danny Boy. [ more ]
