Oh Dear!
Blizz'ard Ah Sooz, I remember being far more judgmental about parenting skills when I was a youngster(ish). Now, I'm just happy that it's someone else's kids, or other parents, getting it wrong! Funnily enough, Mr Blizz was moaning about our 20 year old son today, while his parents were here, and was just about to say how he was like my side of the family (as he always does and they started spouting out loads of stories about his misdeamenours at a similar age. Hands up who is a boring fart
Cagney I don't think I've EVER been called boring. My house was the house that everyone wanted to go to when we were teenagers. My parties were where everyone wanted to be and my parents never complained. There were rules. I take people home, play music loud, drink etc but it all stays downstairs. NEVER go upstairs where mum and dad sleep. As long as I clean up the mess it's ok. I've always been upbeat, an optimist and I live for today. Some people tell me I'm TOO happy????? I appreciate everything... [ more ]

Online lenses
Cagney I'm blind as a bat without lenses or glasses. I always went for trendy little frames with thinned lenses because I was told my eyes were too dry for lenses. Then I found a good optician who told me of the different lenses available. Tried them all. Dailies, monthlies, all different brands etc and finally found ones that suited me perfectly. What did I do then? Missed my glasses so bought frames with clear glass in them [ more ]

Former Member I can't fathom for the life of me how anyone gets that big, and the amount of food they eat is phenomenal; but what irks me, is how people get so huge that they can't do anything for themselves: I mean, they can't work, they can't cook or clean for themselves, and they can hardly even MOVE, and then there's the tens of thousands of pounds a year that goes into looking after them, with carers and disability benefits and so on.
