One day he got out and chased the lad... the lad ran up a fence but not before the dog ripped his coat. Yellow Rose I like shabby chic too, I like a home to look cosy and comfortable. I love watching property programmes and looking at different styles people have. The only style that doesn't interest me is ultra modern, it looks cold and clinical to me. I also couldn't live in a house that has slanting walls in the bedrooms, I'd feel like the walls are closing in on me, I like square shaped rooms with lots of light. Yellow Rose The house looks nice but some of the stuff in it looks pretty basic. Those kitchen stools won't be comfortable, the dining chairs don't look too comfy either. The beds and bedlinen also look pretty basic, and no storage under the beds. Lots of doors though lol. [ more ]

Soozy Woo Talking of blankets - I remember as a kid we had what felt like hundreds of blankets on the bed - it was hard to get up in the mornings with the weight of them. I guess it was a cold house no central heating etc. When I was about 11 or 12 I went to stay at a friends hose for the first time - her mum said 'wold you like one blanket or two?'
