Highly unlikely that the following happened but it could just be possible that: He could have survived because the method of hanging they used meant that death would be by slow strangulation rather than the instant death that would have resulted from breaking his neck if they'd used the 'drop' method. Although I dislike the consumer led society we seem to be in these days, I do enjoy the trappings of modern living especially technology, but (and it is a big but) I always save up from my wages for anything I buy. I was taught by my parents to save for things and I still do it. I did it for my recent iPad Air purchase and also for my big TV. [ more ]

More than 30 people have been injured, seven of them seriously, in a bus crash in south London. Two passengers who were trapped on the double-decker bus in Kennington had to be freed, London Fire Brigade said.
