Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing If you right click on any internet page a box will open with a menu in it One of the options in that menu will be 'add to favourites' or 'bookmark this page'. They both mean the same thing. i.e. they set up a shortcut link in a folder called 'favourites' that you can just click on and you will be taken directly to that page. Saves you all the trouble of going through a series of sub pages and having to remember all the sub pages that you have to go through to get to the page you want. e.g. I... [ more ]

old hippy guy hehe same here, Real there are things I have done in my youth while riding my bikes that I am far from proud of and I would be the first to frown on any youngsters behaving that way now, (I have the scars and injuries to this day) and I have been to far too many funerals as well, [ more ]

Jonono's first flounce
The Singing Ringing Tree Re: Jonono's first flounce [ more ]
jonono Also when I used to work in a certain theatre bar, we had paintings of penises on sale to mark Glasgay but it was just after may (Mayfest) and this woman enquired about a painting and I said 'oh yes the GayFest paintings' [ more ]
jonono Ha ha I remember a meting for MSM (men who have sex with men) at a theatre in Glasgow and my hetero mate piped up 'what's wrong with men who have sex with women, that's what I want to know'. It was a classic 'wrong place' statement and we all giggled like fools in the back row. [ more ]

Whats your view on travellers?
Puss We have a proper site for them not too far from us, initially it looked really nice, toilets, showers installed. Just full of mangy dogs, burnt out cars, rubbish etc. now. No respect, and obviously don't know for sure, but there have been so many burglaries of late that you look to the obvious. [ more ]
Shizzlex travellers in ireland seem different to the ones in england I lived near them in both countries and never had any problems tbh [ more ]

Purple Pram
GMA Fine, and I'm paranoid as to the whole G/b thing - I kept mine in white until they were 1yr old! the continentals have used this as a boy/girl colour for years as my late Mum bought lilac stuff from France as it was the girl/boy alternative 26 yrs ago to my knowledge. However hubby of 28 yrs being Turkish, I know pink works for either out there as does blue. I just can't do that one tho'. [ more ]

Update on my 'friend' problem - for those who posted on my thread from Monday evening
storm Agree with Hollygolightly, Hyacinth and Orchid 100%, and especially with what Hollygolightly said.. Hope all goes well. [ more ]
Hollygolightly Cheeky P Having read your post from the other day and now today, there is one thing I am very sure of, you are one hell of a good friend. You're mate is an utter fool to let a friendship like yours go. Don't think I would have had the generousity of spirit you do. Hope you get the outcome you deserve. [ more ]
HyacinthB I'd leave it to cool now Pixie - you've done your level best to keep the contact going but with very little joy to date. As you say, the ball is well and truly in her court now so wait and see if she does make contact. If she doesn't, then it sounds like she's moved on to pastures new and has become a bit of a fairweather friend to you. I hope she does contact you because it would be a great shame to throw away a long time friendship spanning 35 years. Good Luck. [ more ]

America's Got Talent: If this don't put a lump in your throat then you have no soul!
storm I am with Soozy, carotina, paace, growly, and marybee on this one. First the positive: The little kid is extremely cute and his cute little voice and the way he speaks are very endearing; I found him very likeable. But I agree that using the child's disability to win over the audience and the judges and to gain public votes, is simply 'not on.' Plus, I didn't have one tear come into my eye and can't really 'get' why anyone actually did. Maybe the above 5 posters like me, are sick of the 'sob... [ more ]
paace There must be no age limit on this programme, like X factor. It's unfair to have young children in a talent contest with adults as they always have the edge due to the cuteness factor. There should be a separate group for say the under 12's. [ more ]
Soozy Woo quite ......and parents pushing their kids on the back of a disability ............in all honesty - it's wonderful that he broke through his autism through music ..............why exploit this by putting him through the trauma of TV appearances? He really wasn't that good ...........OK but - surely to God they'd be thankful he'd found a voice and a way of communicating ...............why put it on TV for all to see? [ more ]

angelicarwen Oh Gosh Holly I can't imagine how hard that must be for you. Susan Boyle
Hollygolightly Absolutely Katty, I think her family should keep a close eye on her affairs. I truly hope she is not exploited and then just dumped. Its hard enough for hard boiled youngsters to cope after their 15mins of fame. Just think how traumatic it would be for a lady like Susan. [ more ]
kattymieoww It's been stated before, she is slightly brain damaged (lack of oxygen at birth),she herself stated she is "Slow" and was bullied at school etc.I think she really is unaware due to this, she needs a bit of guidance not exploitation. [ more ]
storm Why is that old man (the so-called breakdancer,) even on disability at 73? Shouldn't he be on a pension? I mean, even if they took him off the disability, he couldn't work as he is too old. I am puzzled. I do think he is shit anyway and can't believe the acts they have passed over for acts like him and 'darth jackson' and that hideous creature with the vile flesh tunnels in his earlobes who drilled through his nose.. Who the hell would wanna disfigure themselves in this manner? [ more ]

captain marbles Why not have a forum wedding? We'll all be witnesses. I'm sure the Rev Dim Dale would be happy to officiate and you'd both get what you want. You'd be wed and she'd be totally unaware that she's in a state of cybermatrimony. We could have drinks and nibbles and everything. [ more ]
