This time next week
Towno :) Oh I know. It's so exciting now... I was so pleased to see a peek of the house. And now the ads are starting to appear for the show, just little teasers too. I don't think I would class any of them my new bf's though! Hopefully there'll be a couple who I could imagine myself having a good laugh with. That'll do for starters. [ more ]

My STUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPID brother!
Lady P He's great but only recently! When we were both at home we hated each other right into our 20's - couldn't bear to be in the same room as each other but now i live in Lpool and he's in Worcester its far enough apart for us to be mates! He's a decent sort tho Hyacinth, we are bursting with pride as he's only come to realise how smart he is in the past few years![/QUOTE] Me and my mum were like that - as soon as I moved away it became great. Ijust saw something on the net, but I don't know whetether to mention it....
china me? was it that time when i bent over? look..it was an honest mistake [ more ]
Lindsxdx As for the jokes yesterday, the later ones were funny. I was there with my John Terry jokes last year, don't dish out what you can't take. It was the jokes about leaving your boots on to stamp on my head that I didn't find funny. To be honest, I feel the same as above about the match. It soon became obvious we were not going to win it, outclassed definately. I am proud that we made the final. [ more ]
~Orchid~ Precisely, we were rubbish after 10 minutes and we deserved to lose. When you are playing Barca, even at their worst, you can't play like we did and expect to win. We will be back though. [ more ]

Mazzystar Hi Hyacinth. I think she'd cope a lot better if she had a support network. Not saying a poor upbringing excuses poor behaviour, but if shes not got people around her telling her to lay off alcohol and drugs while on meds, its extra hard for her to try and sort herself out [ more ]

BGT - Winner by Elimination
StGeorgina I added IMO to clearly demonstrate it was only MY opinion. Assuming one of them were to win, I was highlighting my personal choice of the two. There were a few elements in Diversity's performance in the semi that I found incredible, that didn't exist with Flawless, not for me. Both groups are GREAT role models for today's youth though, and Lord knows, our youth need people they can aspire to, other than gansters etc. [ more ]
Cadoxton Please don't miss my point that Flawless and Diversity will split the vote - I respect your opinion, but others will surely have the same opinion re: Flawless over Diversity. This is a variety show - I hope we get a true variety act as a winner. [ more ]
StGeorgina Diversity are MUCH better than Flawless IMO. I'm looking forward to seeing Greg Pritchard again and Aiden. My favourite act EVER has to be the wonderful Stavros Flatley, that may be hard for some to understand, but for me they have been the ones that made me laugh until I cried and also the sheer love the Dad has for his boy melts my heart. It's special. I'd not be sad to see Julian win either, his playing was superb on both outtings so far. The good thing is, it's NOT a one horse race. The... [ more ]

BBBS i normaly do and there is no doubt the majority will when gordon finaly gets forced to let us. btw i know you keep posting a link to a realy old video (and i'f i'm honest i know i'm sure its still true) but to continue playing devils advocate didnt the labour party change its "beliefs" too in order to become electable, i'm pretty sure it did so, is it realy that surprising that a right wing party would moderate its tone to get more votes just like the left did under blair? maybe i should add... Scooby doo Yay [ more ]
Cagney I think it should be about the whole package. Personality and talent I have to wonder if though that if it was an older, not so good looking man shaking his bits and shouting "come on Amanda" would everybody still be ok about it or would he be called a sleazebucket? [ more ]
longcat I feel really sorry for Susan Boyle. She as been used shamelessly by BGT for publicity and now she as served her purpose it seems people want to kick her back down. She is not the greatest singer in the world and she does have learning difficulties. She really doesn't deserve the backlash she is getting. But saying that Julian is my winner. [ more ]

A do you want Susan Boyle to win Britains Got Talent poll?
Scooby doo No. I thought she had a good chance at the beginning but there is far better talent than her on there. [ more ]
SazBomb Same here, I really like Flawless [ more ]
squiggle No. She has a good voice but I think it would be very bad for her to win, for her life I mean. My money is on Diversity, slick, likeable and very representative of Britain today, all different shades and getting on like a family, wish we could all be like that. [ more ]

tourettes to****innight.
Popular Butcher only i'm not laughing, or at least not all the time. There was some classic quotes last night that will live on in my head for a while though, ones like "another gay man".."ginger pubes" and "fat slag" And if me making this thread highlights the condition then thats anotther job done, so if you think I'm making light of a sad situation then Yes I am, but to say I'm laughing at a situation is wrong and unfounded jonono. [ more ]
jonono feel a bit odd though when it's BNP supporters lining up to have a laugh. [ more ]
mary_bee There was a really good one on C4 last year I think. They took a coach load of tourettes sufferers on holiday or something similar. I think John Peel was presenting it, it was really interesting. [ more ]

I really hope Boyle doesn't win BGT
Bagel Queen why do peeps always look for the negative side? she is a great singer with a beautiful voice, surely she is not getting slated off for being the way she is? I accept her for who she is coz its her voice I noticed first and yes, I saw the audience jeering when she first appeared coz of the way she looked, speaks for itself really! she got thrust into the limelight straight away and imagine how she feels, everywhere she goes a camera following her every move, believe me, these media... old hippy guy oooer ANOTHER can of worms pops open, the French have a "thing" about royalty anyway, they got rid of their lot waaay back, NOT a bad idea (IMO) BUT this whole who saved who,s asses thing has had me falling out a few times with some of our cousins over t western side of the pond, THEY aint to blame, they have THEIR version of history and we have ours, see THEY say WW2 started in 1941, where we KNOW it started in 1939, THEY think we were done for when they " saved our asses" they IGNORE that...
