Does anyone remember 'Watercolour Challenge'?
old hippy guy ahh, fanx Soozy only just spotted this [ more ]
Soozy Woo Or felt tip? I used to love that programme too - it amazed me how they'd all be looking at the same thing but come up with completely different pics. Oh and OHG - your stuff is really good - hope you succeed in getting set up somewhere. [ more ]
Guest I'd go on it but I can't paint in watercolours. Why did they never do wax crayon challenge? [ more ]

The biggest favour Simon Cowell could do.....
Former Member She appears to be very headstrong, with diva-like tendenceis (even at this early stage of her career). Add that to her patently obvious poor social skills, and I have to ask, is she psychologically equipped to choose her team wisely? As for "chasing her dream", that has to be a subjective thing, doesn't it? I would have thought she'd already surpassed all hers and evryone else's expectations the moment she first opened her mouth to sing on that show. That was the REAL defining "WOW" moment. [ more ]
prettycocoaeyes In a way I feel sorry for her, Im sure she thought she had this in the bag with support from the media and Simon.... Yes Simon would have drummed it into our ears about her presence because she was the one who started the media frenzy.... [ more ]
HyacinthB I hope it doesn't crush her either DaBs and, no, I didn't see any mention of Demi Moore being there last night. I'm sure Simon would have made a big deal of it if she had been. Not one to miss an opportunity is Simon eh? [ more ]

Kaffs I suppose that's true - but I always thinks series like this go fast then I see clips from the early shows and I think 'Ohhh.... I'd forgotten about THEM!' [ more ]
Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing I think it's due to the fact that we started on C4 and then had to 'start' again on here. So you get a distorted sense of time as we've only been going (on here) for 4 weeks. [ more ]

I could do with some advice.
Liverpoollass I think inviting them over would be an excellent idea Coping with a situation like this, or any situation, when you feel you are on your own, is very hard. It is good that she has you to talk to - a problem shared and all that. So, my advice would be to accept the hand of friendship and invite them over. They will then be able to see for themselves, that the children are not as bad as they are being portrayed. Hopefully, this will then be able to put an end to the malicious gossip. Fingers ... squiggle Thankyou LL. I was thinking this morning while driving to church after I posted this that perhaps the answer might be the farmer and his wife as he held out the hand of friendship. Wonder whether my friend should invite them over to meet the boys, especially the youngest, he is a real cutie. Also Lassie her husband is out at work all day and she says he tries to understand but she feels all on her own. I'm sort of like her internet mom as her own mom died when she was much younger, I'm sure... [ more ]
squiggle Thank you all for your advice. The sleepover boy comes from their old neighbourhood, its not that far away and he hears the gossip. Also this is the second time she has heard that they are being talked about, the first time we thought that perhaps the old lady who used to live in their house was feeling a little sad to be leaving her old house (even though she obviously felt she had to sell) and was maybe a little confused in her old age. But this seems nastier and seems to be coming from... [ more ]

Why I have to stop coming on Apprentice forum
Kaffs With you now - but it's only guesswork at the end of the day. There aren't normally any spoilers on here - but I know how frustrating it is when people do post spoilers without a warning. [ more ]
Kaffs Ah, I remember all THOSE 'spoilers' Mrs BBV - I thought you meant at one time you didn't mention who'd gone within the thread at all! In any case I see paace has now clarified what they thought the OP was doing anyway... which is still only speculative. Soon be over anyway... [ more ]
paace Sorry guys as I posted hastily and in anger, as I thought the poster was going to reveal how you can work out who Sir A is going to fire at the start of each programme. Still at this stage in the programme I'm going to stay away from anything to do with the programme until the Apprentice is revealed. [ more ]

Yellow Rose They've a long tradition of being thought of as saucy postcards. Personally I'm not interested in lewd or crude stuff but I've always liked these traditional British saucy postcards, not really for what they're saying although many are funny but for the artwork which was a familiar theme for the artists who created them. *BB* I don't have Sky, or digital telly but Scottish TV has been really bad for over 2 weeks and yesterday and today the picture has been terrible. I blame the source ie. ITV and not any of the masts or relay stations etc as all the other channels are fine. It's always ITV that's crap. [ more ]

BGT just out of interest Susan Boyle
Garage Joe Did people really turn against her? I just think it's one of these PR fed press mechanisms. Probably tonight's voters recognised that and turned against her tonight. [ more ]
Barolo I've always liked her. Having said that, however, I'm happy with tonight's result. She will go much further without having won the show. I would have preferred the saxophonist to have won but don't begrudge Diversity their place as winners - I don't really like dance troupes but they are exceptionally talented and their choreographer is extremely creative and imaginative. Well done them! I'm delighted the Holly brat didn't get anywhere! [ more ]
*BB* I love her voice. I don't watch the show, I have only watched a few acts on You Tube so I can't compare her fairly with any other act. I saw the end of the show where they announced the winner and I got the impression - rightly or wrongly - that she seemed very relieved that she didn't win. It looked like a huge weight had been lifted from her. [ more ]

For all the sham that BGT has become........
Soozy Woo TBH it's the crisp precision that doesn't sit right with me .........I like the fluidity and natural charm of Diversity. There's warmth and a touch of humour there ........flawless are simply perfect but ....it doesn't warm the heart in quite the same way IMO. [ more ]

squiggle Nah course not love, don't want to end up with a Joker smile like Simon Cowell do you You must admit its a funny product to be dealing with in a patent agents office where you are mostly dealing with complex scientific inventions, suddenly we are dealing with what looks like bits of brown tape that laydees are supposed to stick on their faces to frighten their hubbies with. See where I'm coming from? [ more ]

squiggle I used to work for a patent agent and the guy who invented these patented them through us. He was a bit of a con merchant. Everyone in the office thought they were hilarious. [ more ]
