El Loro Cinds, I do run payrolls for some of my clients but only monthly ones. I wouldn't want to be having to run payrolls every week of the year as that's too much commitment to make as I don't have staff to do them if I'm not around. It also makes dealing with RTI reports to HMRC a lot less hassle. As a result I've had no comeback from HMRC for the returns. The only "generic notification" I've had from HMRC was when a client had paid the PAYE/NI for a month on the 23rd of the following month,... [ more ]

Carnelian I watched it and Farage came over as a natural, likeable bloke - albeit one who likes a drink a bit too much. As many of us do! If you're of the mind to vote Ukip or swaying in that direction, this was good publicity for Ukip. He's no Adolf in waiting but he is definitely one who is not all he seems. Garage Joe "Ear shattering carnage!" See!? This has been another example of what we used to call, "New Headmaster syndrome!" Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, along comes a new level of badness. That was awful, particularly the last half hour. The Smith gadjie was too piercing, man. We could have done without the soporific Chet song, the guests were not of any interest, and the thought for the day was a thinly disguised advert for that Miranda one. [ more ]

christmas present ideas...
Ells There are some lovely home made crafts pages on facebook selling all sorts of wee personalised trinkets which I think make lovely gifts. MrsH This week Caroline Flack , Frankie Bridge , Mark Wright , Jake Wood and Simon Webbe are through to the semis, and they’re doing two dances each. BBC3 proposals announced
Garage Joe There was a superb article in t'Grauniad recently in which they refuted Murdoch's financial accusations. Alas! It's downstairs pinned to my notice board and not available at the moment. The bottom line is that at less than three quid a week, or less than a pint of Old Speckled Hen, they provide all those advert free radio channels, and a stack of TV. Murdoch couldn't do it for that price. [ more ]
