Rod Taylor dies aged 84
Yogi19 I liked him in The Birds. RIP Rod. [ more ]
Cosmopolitan My nan, when her boys (my uncles) were getting all tarted up for a night out and were thinking they looked the bee's knees, used to utter the immortal "Jeeze, Rod Taylor's arrived" It's the first thing she ever said to my dad when he stood on the doorstep asking to take my mum out I think her 2nd sentence was "sling yer 'ook" Aww, RIP Mr Taylor. Garage Joe I've said loads about the extreme end of the Muslim belief spectrum all over the net today. I normally treat this place as a peaceful haven, however no-one dislikes attacks on our liberal democracies more than me. It's particularly galling that my specific area of literary expertise (sic) has been singled out. Furthermore I dislike that choudary one being at the forefront of opinion again without Paxman having the opportunity to screw him over again. [ more ]
