That was very mean
CaptVimes Exactly, They knew that someone would leave when they did the shopping. I dont remember Lisa saying she agreed to eat rice and lentils for two days till the eviction and then I'll help myself to your shared food. It wouldnt have been a problem if they werent running out of food that they had bought but they were. I think if I was a non smoker I would just say ok lets all live off of the basics and ill have my share of chocolate or alcohol so then nobody gets the best of both worlds. [ more ]
Summer_Breeze Yes, indeed. She so conveniently "forgets" that she herself made the guidelines here and so trying to make a point of indignation about it and bandying around accusations is quite comical but tragic..... and very in character. [ more ]
jennywren You think it is easy to stop smoking? [ more ]

Mozart she said what Ooooooo that woman goes from bad to worse. I really really wish one of those HMs would grow the balls to tell Lisa just what they think. [ more ]
Cold Sweat If Karly goes this Friday, I can see BB bringing in a nominations twist – just to stop Lisa from being evicted next week. I want her out – but I think it might be a long wait to get her out! [ more ]
Liverpoollass I assume that was on LF. Hmmmm she really needs to distance herself, if she can, from Lisa. Although, it will be hard as you wouldn't want to make an enemy of her. [ more ]

For the ladies; Anyone know a cure for breast tension?
Cosmopolitan BB, I think it's the main cause of so many aches and pains. It's funny, I can be light one month but have terrible cramps and vice versa the next. It's always the month when I'm lighter that I retain more water and struggle with the bigger aches and pains. [ more ]
*BB* Thats why I said that diuretics help some women. [ more ]
Cosmopolitan Seriously my lovely, if you're regular enough then it can be easier to divert a few of the symptoms. It may not completely rid you of the pain, but if you can remember a week before (and let's face it, who's always got the time to do that..?), then you may find it more bearable. And Brummie is correct - salt intake. [ more ]

I Went On A Tour Of The Maternity Unit Tonight
Queen of the High Teas That's awful. I think they have the opposite philosophy around here. Both Hudds and Calderdale hospital have midwife only birthing centres where they only offer natural birthing options. You can only have a C section if you are at Calderdale and you have to go to a separate unit for that where they have specialist midwives and doctors. All higher risk pregnancies like me are taken to the LDPR unit at Calderdale in case intervention is needed but they still encourage natural births unless... [ more ]
loislane I'll give you one tip when it comes to a birth plan. Make sure the midwives listen to you. Also sometimes when it's busy in labour wards they try & scare monger women into getting a c section to free up space. With little things like baby is sleepy etc... might be safer to section. It's your decision & don't let them push you into unless it's necessary & baby is in distress. This happened to me & four women in hospital I was in because of labour room shortages. Best of luck [ more ]
