Twee Surgeon Obviously, I don't agree with you ernip. I want a good end to the show, and not more of the same old same old cherry-picking. To blame Freddie is slightly off-kilter imo. Some of the viewing public may well have thought that Lisa had it coming to her (the row with Freddie), and applauded him for it. But let's wait and see shall we? Tonight's eviction will determine whether we see a good end to BB10, or a rewind to the early boring cherry-picking scenario. [ more ]

Twee Surgeon If Lisa doesn't go tonight, we may as well rewind the show to the beginning when she was cherry-picking the other side at will. If she stays, it will spoil the show for us and we will be able to predict each and every eviction night until the end. And with her five chosen people sitting on the couches waiting for their name to be called out - Lisa, Charlie, Rodrigo, Sophie and David. Do we really want that? Twee Surgeon I have always kept myself hidden on the forum, but it has never been to spy or lurk. I haven't the time for that stuff. I can log in at say 2pm, post in a thread, go off to cook dinner, get my washing in, hoover a few rooms, and come back in at, say, 4.30pm and post again. I am still logged into the forum all that time I am away from my lappy tho. It's just a personal preference to remain hidden imo. [ more ]

littleleicesterfox It is really missing LF so we know what's really going on BUT, that said, I am enjoying this one - there are plenty of twists and turns. Most of the tasks have been pretty lame but some the HMs, especially Freddie, Marcus and, grudgingly Lisa have made the series fascinating to watch. [ more ]

fabienne In the vote to save, the most popular housemates stay in. In the vote to evict, the strong characters lose out, even the popular ones. In the past, fans have asked for the chance to vote to save, but when BB offers it, people want the opposite. My opinion: it's nice to have vote to save for a change. [ more ]

Shar In a vote to save, people are going to naturally vote for their favourite HM rather than vote for, say, Hira in the hope that a vote for her will make it more likely for Lisa to go ... C4 know this only too well and they know it's the safest way of actually keeping Lisa in the house ... Then again, it could come down to hair splitting percentages ... [ more ]

Twee Surgeon With Charlie and Rodrigo, it's all about camera time. A sort of quid pro quo. They make up, they argue, they quarrel over little things, they throw bottles at each other. But it's all about something for the HLs show in the end, and all about airtime. Rodrigo is not a bad lad imo, but Charlie is a sneak. He will do anything to win this show. [ more ]

subatomic partygirl I don't know much about betting but don't bookies lay their odds, (at least partially) on the number of people placing bets on given HMs to be evicted or saved and doesn't this reflect the relative popularity of the HMs(in at least the betting population)? In other words, it's not exactly a bad benchmark of public opinion (but by no means an unequivocally accurate one)? Of course, I could be totally wrong.... [ more ]

Eugene's Lair Stuart was genuinely well-liked, though. The audience reaction to his eviction remains one of the best ever - there was so much cheering that the other HMs inside the house thought the series had ended early and Stuart had been declared the winner! The thing was that although viewers liked him, they clearly didn't think he deserved to win - a crucial distinction... [ more ]

Marguerita I blame Siavash more than Marcus Siavash deliberately would not nominate he is not stupid he knew this could have happened ,not sure if Marcus was as deliberate he got caught out like most of them do when talking nominations ,I also read in a thread this morning Siavash aledgedly said he is not nominating next week,if any justice is done I hope the HMS put Siavash and Marcus up for eviction next week all they did was blatantly laugh in their faces ,as a result one of our favourites could go... Yellow Rose pretty much like that for me too lol, had to creep into bed so hubby didn't know how late it was Another thing I noticed was when only 2 are up for eviction they don't all run round playing games till the early hours. With all of them up it was a bit like lets get some more airtime just in case, or am I being cynical lol [ more ]
brisket This teasing started with tipsy Sophie, Rodrigo and Charlie being mischievous. Sophie seemed to be the first one to spread further into the bedroom by calling on Freddie (who was reluctant to be involved at first.) I thought "Og dear this will end in tears." Sure enough after lots of shouting, screaming, running about, tickling, throwing in the pool, jumping in the pool, ignoring requests for quietness, we end up with the usual "one step too far." Alcohol affects good judgment. [ more ]
kazzy I go through stages with Rodrigo.. I thought the letter to the Queen was unbelievably sweet. His and Hira's obvious excitement was lovely to watch. Then when he gets his righteous, holier than thou head on I just want to shake him. For a young boy he sure does lack of sense of humor sometimes [ more ]
