I read a story
riversider When the pensioner passes were first introduced it was planned that the system would be expanded to cover other groups such as the nemployed. sadly now that the economy has tanked it won't happen. Bearing that in mind it might be fairer to means test the bus passes. But they do keep so many dodgy drivers off the roads... down here on the retirement riviera bus passes are extremely popular. [ more ]
*BB* I have a disability that prevents me from driving but I can't get on the bus. Thats why I never bothered applying for my free bus pass when I reached 60. My eldest daughter has a bus and a train pass because of her disability but she has to pay a fee for it. Sorry I tried to edit but I lost my internet connection. She gets a free bus pass but has to pay 50p for each journey. She pays £25 per annum (I think) for her rail pass but only gets a third off the cost of her journey. So she doesn't... [ more ]
Darthhoob yes..funny how they never really tell you what you are entitled too when registered with an 'invisible' disability (or any really). i've found that out. all the help and advice i've found out about have been through word of mouth or forums. [ more ]

Little Miss Spurs Dont think anyone was fooled by marcus's pretend upset face, when davina announced he was safe That man!!!! [ more ]
riversider Even the nicest people get paranoid and introspective after a couple of months locked into the house.freddie and Marcus are too caught up in the game. They think that the public evicted Hira for a reason. they still don't understand that it was a vote to save. they have both got rather conceited about their understanding of the dynamics of the game so now they are trying to say that they know why poor Hira went. Trouble with BB these days is that the "actors" survive best. They fool the... [ more ]

Free Thinking Not really, you'd have the more entertaining HMs voted out even quicker and boring ones who are just there for their looks always surviving. [ more ]

What was the exact order the hms were told they were safe
riversider So, if Siavash, Sophie and Rodrigo were the first names read out do you think it will change the way some housemates nominate? will they be perceived (by Charlie, for instance) a the potential winners? Now that could make things interesting... [ more ]
Former Member Think it would have been much more fun [ more ]
Kaffs I think they just announce them randomly but make sure the keep the one that's the going and the one that most people want to go till the end to raise a bit of excitement with the viewer. [ more ]

OK, who out there voted to save Lisa !!!!
Lister_of_Smeg not me i voted for Marcus and Freddie [ more ]
Carnelian Not me! Despite hardly watching BB this year, I can't stand the snide ***. As soon as I heard her drone on with her boring truisms as if they were great insights on the human condition I thought she had to go. TBH, as soon as as started going on about turning straight women (as if) I wanted her out. [ more ]
Enthusiastic Contrafibularities I think Bea brings more entertainment into the house. After all, surely we should be looking to keep the house interesting, but also keep one eye on who we would like to win. Lisa or Bea won't win, but you could still keep them in if they are entertaining. Still want Lisa out though as I think she is mostly boring. [ more ]

Will Siavash refuse to nominate again next week and if so
Marguerita I dont think he will nominate this week he never got punished ,everyone else did he should be shown the door nominating is what BB is all about. [ more ]
Little Miss Spurs Like I said, if he does the same as he did this week, saying he "wouldnt mind going home" and repeating it just before someone went in to vote; Thats why him and Siavash were both the cause this week of everyone being up [ more ]

Gutted that Goddess Hira has gone...
fabienne It didn't seem to make things better in the interview, either, when Davina explained to her that it wasn't because she was hated, but because not enough people liked her. [ more ]
Cariad I'm not sure she'd cope with autocue and remember to breathe at the same time tbh. [ more ]
Free Thinking Yeh, I'd rather they played those mind games with some of the others in there rather than her. Was upset at her look when she was in the last two knowing she was likely to go and thinking she was hated. [ more ]

That woman on the eviction panel...
Free Thinking Rodrigo, Charlie and Siavash have had the most blatant gameplans for weeks with their flying under the radar. The problem with that kind of gameplan is it's so damn boring. I don't like these guests on the panel either, they just end up talking about other HMs instead of the evicted one. The interview is supposed to be for the evicted HM. [ more ]
~Lee~ Siavash didn't say any names Jean it was Marcus...He mentioned Lisa and Hira bringing Hiras task into it the fact it lasted 5 hours....Neither were in any way being complimentary of Hira. [ more ]
Videostar Yes but Siavash talked about HM's having gameplans which that woman on the eviction show tonight decided to ignore. [ more ]

Hira's Interview
fabienne I thought Hira had some really good 'good bits' with the Alice in Wonderland clips and her singing. More than some people have. [ more ]
jeanoj No, there wasn't Jackson but it was still rude to discuss another housemate at Hira's interview - they could at least brought her into the conversation more. [ more ]
Mercedes78 Yeah i thought it was a bit rude to start talking about Bea while Hira was still there. [ more ]

Poor Rodrigo! Totally understood why he was so piddled off
*KG* Can't stand Rodrigo - think he's a whining shite, but agree that Charlie went too far, as he normally does Would everyone who thought he deserved to win, this year, please check themselves out and then pick someone else? Fanks [ more ]
Aquarius I couldn't agree with you more Jenny. Rodrigo might have a sense of humour bypass but its preferable to the nasty, sly, conniving Charlie's character traits. I loath him and am totally confuddled at how popular he seemed with the outside crowd. A well, it must be me lol. [ more ]
sunny dayz I cant stand rodrigo, he will kick off at any moment..very stroppy and cant take a joke! [ more ]

Freddie saved Lisa...
CaptVimes They saved Lisa two weeks ago. I dont think BB wanted Bea or Marcus to go either. [ more ]
Free Thinking The voters saved Lisa, if they had voted tactically she would have gone. Hira being a new HM and not being shown in the HLs much was always favourite to go, I was saying that all week. [ more ]
Former Member Freddie was misguided in his action and his words ,not surprised at a protest vote. [ more ]

POOR HIRA...
Cariad Naaah...I think it gives a far fairer result. When we vote to evict the boring (although admittedly "nice") housemates tend to fly under the radar to the final. [ more ]
The Edifier Did everyone notice all the stuff in her best bits that had never been shown before....?! [ more ]
Azure. how the hell is that lovely lass out and the lying conniving back stabbing Beatch is still there..............mmmmmm could it be because BB did'nt give her any airtime. I dont vote normally but I voted to save Hira against that vile Beatch. [ more ]

How crafty was that?
Soozy Woo Do you honestly think so? Do you not think BB plays with their minds. I hate to say it but the 'individuals' have become team Smug recently .................in believing that Lisa was in the bottom two ............it'll simply give them more rope to hang themselves. [ more ]
Former Member They knew it was Hira, just trying to make it a bit exciting ....well it was a bit.. [ more ]
amelie Maybe Lisa and Hira did get the 2 lowest number of votes. Lisa can hardly be described as popular. [ more ]

How can it be Hira when Halfwit is 100% always right?
Enthusiastic Contrafibularities I was 98% sure Halfwit would get that wrong. [ more ]
Reality Junkie Ha ha ha. I knew he was wrong!!! [ more ]
Free Thinking Because they didn't know it was a vote to save. A normal vote would have meant Lisa would have gone. I assume you know that becaue it's so obvious. Also it's worth saying that every HM will give predictions. Freddie perhaps has been influenced by Marcus's predictions in the past too. [ more ]
