pretty_p I agree - also if the case was that she felt unsafe we should be blaming the people out there who have assauted paramedics in the past as it is due to those people that paramedics now often feel unsafe!! [ more ]
Former Member Well at the mo we don't really have all the facts but I won't let that stop me I did a first aid course (St Johns Lifesaver) about 10 years ago and was a first aider at work for 2 years too. The first thing you have to say when attending any incident is "I'm checking the area for danger to myself and the casualty* And you have to say it every time before you even assess the casualty. It sounds to me like she felt it was unsafe. Now I don't know if it was or not but surely most of the fault... [ more ]
