Senora Reyes Whatever you felt personally about MJ does not condone Jarvis's behaviour, I think Taylor Swift is a boring bland non entity in short she sucks, but don't for a minute condone Kanye's behaviour. I don't agree with anyone who goes out of thier way to disrespect an artist whilst performing or accepting an award. Kanye was wrong so was Jarvis, IMO. [ more ]

Dirtyprettygirlthing I used to be jellus of all you people who had wheelie bin councils.... ours aren't into the wheelie bins... even if we buy one we have to use them to store just black bin bags of rubbish in... and leave the black bin bags out for collection (along with a recycling bag for plastics, and a plastic box for tins & bottles). After reading about maggots & wheelie bin cleaning.... I am quite glad we don't have them now! [ more ]

Senora Reyes Never dealt with Sky. Was a Telewest customer, which then became Virgin Media, and I've had no problems with them ever. [ more ]
Garage Joe I did that a couple of years ago. There is a solution though but. Increase the BBC licence by a tenner so that they may get the football. You can then save anywhere between 40 and 50 GBP per month by cancelling Sky and Virgin. Simples :squeak: Remember that was my idea. No stealing it. [ more ]
Luxor I have never had a problem with a Sky Signal because of the weather. Now seagulls sitting on the dish, that is another story. [ more ]

SpiderMonkey Shebaz's was the worst case of bullying that any BB housemate received over any series. The entire house turned against him. BB were very irresponsible to have put him in the house in the first place though. It was clear that he was unstable and vulnerable. Kinda like Sree this year. [ more ]
Garage Joe My quarters are different too. It was ages before we realised that we were meant to pay VAT. So we approached them and they were very pleasant about it even though we were 18 months in arrears. I do it all online now. I am told that there is so much large scale VAT fraud that it is less likely that they will inspect as regularly as before. [ more ]

fookat it does seem badly managed as whole though. Our local post office has about 3 people working there despite there being 12 counters and the queues in there are ridiculously long especially on a Saturday. We have a mate who has recently become a postman and they keep him on contract only and never keep him updated on if it will be renewed or anything. In fact his contract has expired and he hasnt been offered a new one but he just keeps turning up for work [ more ]
Kaytee I have no sympathy for the strikers in this instance...but I do believe that essential services should be state-ownded yet run properly.....but that's something of an oxymoron. My regular postie is brilliant btw, but the others that have delivered the mail around here.....well. [ more ]

Demantoid It used to totally freak her out, though In keeping with aimee's dream about her non-existent baby Dylan, I had a weird one that thankfully didn't recur. I dreamed I gave birth to a weird-looking baby named Precious (this was years before all the LOTR hype). It had a sharp, pointy nose, scrawny hands and the most awful, penetrating wail. mel 2 I was at Godstone Farm on the last bank holiday - at the height of this outbreak. Luckily for us we are all ok. The farm itself is a great day out and i am hoping that they can survive/recover from this. I will go back there once it re-opens and weather depending. There are loads of signs about hygiene around the farm. But agreeing with Growlybear it is up to the parents to make sure their children wash there hands after feeding and petting the animals.
