3 in a bed (now) Channel 4
pirate1111 that programme makes me chuckle and that arty shadrack look-a-like was a real funny piss taker but the scorings all wrong-they should be scored in secret-cos its easy for them to figure out whos got the best chance of winning if they all know what percentage they're getting [ more ]

brisket Well I've given it a go darlo, but left it halfway through. Too many irritations for me and not enough to grip me. I don't me them being wrong about most things, and I don't mind them learning on the job, so to speak. But I've left at the point where (with or without gloves) some of the girls cannot resist running their hands through their hair and then touching the cheese, and again, and again. Hair, cheese, hair, cheese... Sugar's side-kick has wild hair (rather like Raymond Blanc's.) And... [ more ]

"Dignitas" Scandal etc...
stonks Reference: Stonks, if you know where your friend worked, then you should report what you were told to the appropriate council so that they can investigate and if the practice of taking the bodies out of the coffins so that the coffins are not burned is still going on, then the cramatorium can be closed down and those responsible can be sacked. I would'nt do that EL, knowing him he could have been winding me up.... [ more ]

jacksonb its true that the leader o f any party isnt elected by the public, but who is leading a party does have a huge impact on how the public vote. when the country rejected the labour party last week, it was a rejection of gordon brown. so just who is the leader is pretty paramount when we vote. Garage Joe Reference: It was actually called Ellen Wikinson High....I believe she was a big noise from round your neck of the woods This one? What a heroine! Elected as an MP for Middlesborough East in 1924, Ellen was one of four women MPs in the Labour government at the time of the Jarrow crusade, and constantly sought to draw the plight of Jarrow to the attention of party leaders. A petite, elegant woman, she was an outstanding orator, with a fierce political passion, both in and out of parliament,... [ more ]

Blizz'ard Re: So, so very WRONG....(amended)... [ more ]
Sarum Reference: But wouldn't they be a lttle more spread out rather than all being in one spot??? Not necessarily; the rather robust lady in the picture might have been sitting on the grass where there was just one little clump of seeding oats or whatever...they'd have stuck only to the part of her that was directly over the plant. Help please!!!! There are some great you tube clips on here
El Loro I have this on Youtube and think it is caused by your broadband speed not being fast enough. The speed of Youtube downloads will depend on the graphic resolution of the clip - the higher the resolution the longer it takes to download. Also if the clip is just music with still photos, the download will be much faster. What I do to avoid the halts is to click on the pause icon, let the download continue, not necessarily until it's complete but has made decent progress, then click on the pause... [ more ]

Quiz: Identify
El Loro A thoroughly enjoyable quiz and we now know that you are a Gene Kelly fan Oddy enough on Sunday morning someone I know said that I was on top of the world. squiggle Reference: But then some are left wing and some are right wing? Politics pah! It gets in everywhere [ more ]
El Loro Reference:brisket There was a time when a military unit would march as one man. They would go "left, right, left, right...." However the Guards in Red Square were not co-ordinated. Some were doing "left, right, left right..." while others did "right, left, right, left..." Dearie me. A sign of our slovenly times. But then some are left wing and some are right wing? [ more ]

Blizz'ard Reference: Fluffy No. for me sitting up means 'not slouching - sitting with your back straight' whereas sitting down means getting on a seat. Lockes I hate this myth regarding benefit scroungers and their love for the labour party............My auntie who was made redundant in January and who is due to retire in June has been claiming JSA which she is allowed to for 6 months, she went to sign on last week and because they said she hadnt been looking for enough jobs (she works 10 hours a week),her benefit was stopped (I kid you not) she has worked all her life and now that her retirement looms she is quite happy working her little 10... Happy Birthday to Peter Pan
suzybean I have spent long periods of time at GOSH with my son, and God Bless you J.M. Barrie [ more ]
brisket Reference: El Loro Specifically at the request of J M Barrie, Great Ormond Street Hospital does not reveal how much money they receive. What a pity! That's perhaps the bit which interests me most. [ more ]
El Loro Reference: However, as you remind us El Loro, the hospital still benefit. It would seem they will have a 'Peter Pan' income indefinitely The copyright law is complex. As far as the UK is concerned, normally copyright would have expired in 2007, 70 years after J M Barrie's death. However, a copyright act passed in 1988 uniquely extended copyright here in the UK in perpetuity. In the rest of Europe, copyright expired in 2007 apart from Spain where it will expire in 2017. SpiderMonkey This is very dangerous. There will now be an influx of cloned websites with very slightly different domain names, eg. ğoogle.com instead of google.com, where the average unwitting user will click the fraudulant link and be tricked into downloading viruses and so on. Also think about how this will be used to clone online banking websites. It's a disaster waiting to happen... [ more ]
