Paul O'Grady
Yellow Rose I enjoyed his C4 shows - and he had some great guests - but not really feeling it as yet with the night time one, different format is probably the difference. Have never been interested in Michael Ball, not my kind of music which is mainly what he's known for, well to me anyway. Have had the show on in the background in the afternoon while doing chores and waiting for my next show I watch. He seems to refer to himself quite a lot in an almost egotistic way. [ more ]
Cariad Mr Ball butches it up on telly so I'm told. And no - I'm not a fan of Mr O'Grady either. It's me I'm sure. He seems sweet enough and all but there's something there that makes me downright impatient with the man. It's not rational.... [ more ]

Emmerdale "Spoiler"
darloboy (Play The Game!) Reference: Although I bet he'll try lying through his teeth. That character has no conscience, hope he gets what's fully deserved. Well no-one has ever found out about him killing his dad and considering that Charity finds out about him and Eve they could perhaps reveal it at some point leading to blackmail as there is unfinished business there which has been forgotten about. El Loro Aimee, I've had another look at SpiderMonkey's thread on this, and in a later thread he posted this which replaces steps 1 to 3: In which case, in IE's menu at the top (under Tools per El Loro), open Internet Options, select the Privacy tab, and then continue my guide from Step 4 onward. I've done a little snapshot which shows the Intenet Options screen and the Privacy screen to the right - if you look closely you will see the finished result you should get. (at least on my version of IE) [ more ]

El Loro Aimee - re the avatar pictures and IE. Spidermonkey came up with the answer a year ago. I suggest you highlight the below, copy it by pressing Ctrl-C, then going over to Word or something, paste it (Ctrl-V) and print it off. This is what he posted: Like me, you will no doubt have been suffering with the avatar/images issue where most pictures fail to appear. I am happy to tell you that I have found a way to fix this. The problem seems to be that all the avatars and so on are from the... [ more ]

RZB Reference: Evening. RZB was telling me much the same on FB the other day was he, I think it was the last one last night, great series, Alan Davis comes across as a good egg, he can't help his choice of football colours, I can remember the Poll Tax riots, and only lived 10 minutes from where it all happened, but it always shocks me at the sheer mayhem that took place, [ more ]

I am furious at BT... mad as hell..
The Devil In Diamante I used to have my phone line with BT and my internet with O2, because I had an O2 PAYG phone I got unlimited broadband for £7.50 a month...it was brilliant, all I had to do to get that price was top up the mobile by £10 every 3 months. I changed my phone over to Talk Talk, but got a Broadband Dongle with Vodafone, THe Vodafone Dongle was dreadful and they finally let me out of the 18 month contract early, I'm now on a 30 day rolling contract with 3, and it's brilliant.... ...as for Talk... Leverage - the must see series starts tonight on Freeview
El Loro I saw Leverage last night and it seems quite promising. Xochi is right, it has similarities with Hustle, but combined with a touch of Mission Impossible. (And a touch of Lost in that it uses flashbacks of characters' pasts). It is repeated today at 8 pm. [ more ]
Xochi Reference: (and hopefully makes up for yesterday's Seven Days) Nothing, nothing could make up for that misconceived, reprehensible dross! But thanks for the heads up there El Loro... Former Member I didn't see it but I don't like the idea of small children being away from their parents like that - unless of course the home life is violent or dysfunctional etc. My DIL's parents live in Oman but she was sent to Cheltenham Ladies at 13 - she had a first rate education but there are disadvantages. New Harry Potter trailer looks rather epic!
MrMincePie Read the whole collection and watched them all... sadly none of the movies so far have been up to scratch and seemed to have missed out vital scenes. The Philosopher's stone (the first movie) seemed to have got the closest out of them all. From then on it went downhill, the half blood prince looked a piss poor lazy attempt... I suppose the final one is split into two parts... so Warner Bros. are either cashing in or genuinely care about the film. A shame really, because I thought the... [ more ]
charlisock Reference: They should have been split into two parts from Goblet of Fire onwards IMO. Apparently the producers or whoever wanted to... Either way, I stopped watching HP films a long time ago... still love the books though <3 [ more ]
Eugene's Lair Reference disley21 Today at 12:30: They should have been split into two parts from Goblet of Fire onwards IMO. Every film since then has skipped too much important stuff from the books. When the first film came out, the concern in the industry was that children wouldn't be prepared to sit through a film that was 2 and a half hours long. As it turned out, the only real complaint from the fans was that some details had been changed from the book, and many wished that the film had been even... [ more ]

Carnelian Radio Norwich is about as bland as it's possible for a regional commercial radio station to get. What annoys me most about this station is it was awarded a licence to broadcast essentially identical regional (but not really regional) programming, DJ style and play-list as Heart (Norfolk & North Suffolk) FM (previously Radio Broadland) already broadcasts to the area - and that's crap as well. O/T Gordon Ramsay's teeth look mental
Blackpudlian Reference: Not too sure about Ramsay but I know Ronan Keating got his done to "appeal to the American market". I watched Hells Kitchen USA last night and Ramsay did NOTHING but swear.
