Former Member Noooo, I refuse to get caught up in the frenzy. The only concession I've ever made has been when I've made a Christmas cake, which has to be made a couple of months before. I get paid on the 18th of the month, so start to think about Christmas shopping after then. [ more ]

BRISKET *LOOKIE*
brisket Reference: Skylark Are you still on cloud 9 brisket ? Indeed I am Skylark.I can't get over the fact that Hoochie and Dame Ann even had the idea. So lovely of them. Former Member Reference: Issyjinglebells You have a purple car? I am jealous- what sort is it? Mine is a rather nice blue-green colour, It's a Ford Ka, and it's a very purpley purple. When I got my netbook, I only had a choice of white, black or blue, so I got the white. But I thought it was a bit boring, so I livened it up with a lovely psychedelic pink and purple skin. It's wonderful now [ more ]

Garage Joe There are very many hybrids. My favourite was the Ortanique. Essentially Satsumas taste great and in a bold salute to bricolage can be used in autoerotic pursuits. Clementines have no use whatsoever. [ more ]

Eastenders Spoiler
Eugene's Lair Reference stonks Today at 03:04: I thought I'd seen it written here but could'nt remember by who sorry, yes it was one of the most traumatic storylines of a soap I'd seen and I'd been very upset about the Cathy and Jacky miscarage on Emerdale because I'd not long miscaried myself but the cot death in Eastenders was very traumatic so why go there again?, surly they could think of something else.... No doubt the writers will come out with some line about how most viewers won't remember Sue and... [ more ]
stonks Reference: Ah yes - Little Hassan, the son of Sue and Ali (the original owners of the Cafe). I wrote about this recently - for me, it still remains the most moving thing Eastenders has ever done. I still remember the reaction to it: people were discussing it in the street as if it was a real death. I recall Steve Wright mentioning it on his Radio 1 show (as was), and saying that he kept having to remind himself that he was just a fictional soap character... I thought I'd seen it written here... Eugene's Lair Reference stonks Today at 00:58: They did a cot death storyline years ago which was heart breaking, why do it again..
