Tooth Fairy What the US private Gary Manning is alleged to have said is that he took a GAGA CD to work and erased the contents. He must have meant that he took a re-recordable CD with some form of alleged music on it and used that as his transport device for the information now being published to the world. Seems to me that anyone who deletes any recording by Lady Gaga - or indeed any gaga content at all deserves a well done [ more ]

1st stamp stamps to cost 46p, is that a lot?
Soozy Woo Or they do and charge you the extra plus £1.00 handling charge. I just paid 1.32 on line for a larger than average card . At this time of tear it's pretty petty and a total waste of time and money IMO. [ more ]
Former Member ! 1st class was 27p not that long ago! [ more ]
Former Member Its ok if you are posting standard size envelopes, but especially at this time of year, posting different sizes of cards is a nightmare. you just cant put a stamp on , because if it doesnt fit thru that measuring thing or if its too thick, the price will be more than the standard stamp. So having to queue up at the post office and get your card measured is so annoying. One card i posted was 68p because of its size. They wont deliver them if they havent got the right priced stamp on , [ more ]

Former Member The teeth marks are mine, just had the crunchy bits [ more ]
El Loro Years ago, one of the clients we had was next to this baker and every morning one of us would go next door and buy a round of freshly baked warm lardy cakes and we would tuck into them over coffee. They were delicious, particularly the crispy bits, and just the sort of food for this cold weather. Each one probably had a week's worth of saturated fat but they were great Feast on one of these: [ more ]

Who is your favourite TV chef?
Yogi19 Reference: It's true. In the 1970s, chicken was a luxury thing that you could afford to eat once a week, at most. Now everyone can afford to eat chicken most nights of the the week and because? Because factory farming has made the broiler chicken (the type everyone buys) the fastest growing animal known to man, all done by genetic engineering. A factory chicken for eating goes from egg to slaughter in five weeks. Horrifying.. Did anyone watch Hugh Fernley-Whittingstall's "Chicken Out"... [ more ]
