Carnelian Yes, it is wrong. So it's up to the manufacturers of the scanner to modify their drivers to work on a new version of the operating system. However, I would imagine that Packard Bell weren't really interested in supporting their old products as they'd already made the sale. I would think they were more interested in selling a new scanner than prolonging the life of their existing products for no commercial benefit to themselves. Inevitably when a new operating system is released, it's... [ more ]

Who thinks the Royal wedding is a good thing.?
Garage Joe Supporting the monarchy is rather like supporting school uniform in my book. A harmless, inconsequential, relatively cheap idea which prevents turtle anarchy. Let's forget the royal family and go for the true enemies of the people, Murdoch, News International, tax avoiders, multi nationals, the Tories, Banks, Murdoch, the Tories, neil Warnock, and Murdoch. [ more ]
Carnelian Ha ha Garage Joe, On the face of it, it seems a bit absurd to query the guest list of something as irrelevant as the royal wedding. They are supposed to be above politics. They've shown themselves to be very much in the Tory camp. I think the institution should be abolished. I see them as nothing more than spongers and promoters of class superiority. I'm a left winger and I despise everything they represent. IMO, no left winger can criticise Cameron's advantages and networking while... [ more ]
Garage Joe I note that Ed Milliband has snubbed Gordon Brown and Neil Kinnock. They won't be at his wedding. Further examples if royal bigotry against the wairking class? In the absence of any explanation, I did my own research. Tony Blair didn't get to the royal wedding because of his world changing ban of fox hunting. Gordon Brown because he decommissioned the royal yacht Britannia (according to Dominic Lawson, that sex bomb's brother) [ more ]
