Ain't that bad. I regularly did 7.30am to 6.30pm with a half-hour break. And this was computer stuff and deadlines that needed maximum concentration, rather than supermarket stuff you can half-arse without anyone noticing. [ more ]

just been to tesco for soup, their heinz farmers market range have dramatically reduced in size but price remains at 1.29 a can.... i left soup-less... bastards [ more ]
I like M&S and their ready made meals which suit me being on my own I like Waitrose and I dont think overall it is any more expensive than sainsburys, I shop or rather my daughter shops for me in places were I prefer their food, but then going to the other extreme is if I am in town I will go into the pound shop and buy packets of lighters for my son ..a good bargain [ more ]

The show definitely needs someone like her. I only saw the start but will catch up if I see a repeat. Those shoulder pads are redonkulous! Oh and I thought she was really nice and sympathetic to the woman who had a panic attack and lost her pitch, all the others were sitting in stony silence and she spoke up to reassure her. [ more ]

I always remember watching a race a while back and a horse fell then tried to get up ,it's front leg was broken and flapping about,poor thing, it couldn't really walk.I assume it was "humanely" destroyed not long after.The tv racing shows try to move quickly away from such scenes but This was very visible.Damn shame on us humans.We are despicable. My nana had it she was diagnosed in her forties past away in her 80's (not related to MS) she used to use a stick in the last 10-15 years but it never stopped her, they tried to give her a wheelchair but she'd have none of it. A friend of mine has it as well diagnosed when she was 23 (so about 15 years ago). she has bad patches but on the whole the she's grand. [ more ]
