In my opinion she crossed the line talking about abortion. Many women feel they would do it, but dont, and DONT tell your kids that you may have, once they are born!! Then when you have said it, blame dad. I feel for the kids in this, mum and dad in the jail, and maybe they werent wanted anyway . Very sad . I started watching it and got bored - hated that head to head singing when it seemed to be who could sing (screech/shout) the loudest was chosen. Any credibility it had sort of melted away at that bit (for me anyway). [ more ]

Sweets my friend's two BTs Hazel and Bramble came 2nd in the Crufts Factor dog contest yesterday - they got a rosette and their 'mum' who's only 16 is very proud of them [ more ]

I also loved the Skye terrier that won and the wire haired dachshunds I disapprove of some of the looks the kennel club prefer, they have altered many breeds, but I still enjoy the show. Our border is very healthy and looks beautiful, but she would be considered too big to win a dog show, even though you can still span her. At the risk of repeating myself, one shouldn't eat fowl or sea filth, for they are at the high risk end of the risky food options. I well remember an incident at a well known seaside restaurant. I went for the goats cheese and pine nut option. Our unsuspecting friends went for the salmon and dill, and bivalve ish paella. What were they expecting? We were kept awake by their bathroom sounds. I made a chick pea and spinach curry a few weeks ago, froze it, then 'lost it' in the freezer. Last night I thought I would have a sneaky bowl of ice cream out of the tub that the girlies had left in the freezer when they went back to uni ... took the lid off, and there was my curry!!
